We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.\nMain purpose of position\nCurrently we are looking for a Site Manager, Dobrun & Sadova to join our global team. You will be Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day construction activities, implement high on-site quality standards, ensure all personnel and contractors maintain high HSEE standards, and monitor & report progress.\nMain point of contact with the Contractors at site, responsible to lead daily and weekly meetings, coordinate the sequence of the construction activities with the support of supervisors\nProject location - Craiova region ( Dobrun - Olt, Sadova - Dolj )\nMain responsibilities\nManage the following key project disciplines at site, Health and Safety, Environmental management, logistics and warehouse, Quality Control, Document control of all quality documentation, Progress measurement of site activities and Community Liaison (Grievances); ensure the project is being executed within the contractual requirements and proactively assist the Construction Team\nEnsure that basic services at site like security, control of entrance at site, office facilities (supply of electricity, water, cleaning, basic office material), vehicles; keep control of the budget related\nManage Scatec on site teams, responsible for planning and coordinate Scatec resources at site, control extra hours, rotations, commuting (daily to site / rotation), take actions on deviation of conduct, performance evaluation reviews.\nMain point of contact with the Contractors at site, responsible to lead daily and weekly meetings, coordinate the sequence of the construction activities with the support of supervisors \nCompile daily and weekly Construction reports based on on-site observations\nEngage daily with the Scatec site managers and supervisors in terms of progress, risks and quality of work\nEvaluate construction progress reporting (from sub-contractors) daily and the validity thereof\nRepresent the SCATEC (as EPC) in Community meetings as part of stakeholder engagement commitments as requested supporting the CLO, Unions, Local Police, Schools, Environmental and governmental related audits at site\nQualifications and competencies\nDegree in Construction Management or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering\nSpecialization in Solar and/or renewables, 5+ years management of renewable energy construction \nProject Management Education\n8+ years working experience in a construction project environment - supervisory/management role\nManagement of all construction aspects, electrical, mechanical and civil engineering works\nClear ability to plan, delegate and coordinate tasks to all subordinates on the construction project\nStaff management, time management, cost management, quality management and production management expertise\nGood at building relationships and trust, good judgement skills and high integrity\nHigh social and intercultural competence\nLanguage: Fluent both written and spoken in Romanian and English\nAdditional information: 12 month contract, driver license\nPersonal characteristics\nIt is part of every employee’s term of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhering to our company values which are:\nPredictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, share information in an open and honest way\nDriving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritize and work independently\nChangemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust\nWorking together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude\nWe offer\nScatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
