Working closely, under Scrum methodology, with cross-functional teams including Architects, Product Owners, Testers, and other developers to deliver product increments in line with defined Sprint goals, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements (such as scalability, reliability, and security). The role involves problem-solving, the development of innovative solutions and Proof of Concepts, and the application of AI techniques to meet client needs.\nKey responsibilities:\nCreate and implement cloud-based applications and services, incorporating AI features where appropriate.\nEnsure cloud and AI solutions meet performance, scalability and reliability requirements.\nWork with domain and solution architects to design and refine cloud and AI solutions.\nImplement and maintain strong security best practices for cloud and AI components.\nStay current with emerging cloud and AI technologies, including serverless, microservices and new AI frameworks.\nDocument cloud and AI solutions clearly, including integrations and data flows.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud and AI applications.\nConduct functional, performance and resilience testing of cloud and AI components.\nContinuously enhance cloud and AI solutions based on metrics, feedback and best practices.\nEnsure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and internal guidelines.\nSkills and experience:\nStrong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, ideally with certifications.\nProficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript or C#, with experience working with AI APIs and frameworks.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, particularly in developing AI-enabled technical solutions.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and globally dispersed teams.\nAbility to quickly adopt and apply new cloud and AI technologies.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to producing secure, reliable and high-quality solutions.\nAbout Us\nSCC is Europe's largest privately-owned IT business, based out of the new £7m HQ office in Birmingham and we help clients succeed through IT transformation and exceptional customer experiences.
