You will work alongside AI engineers and ML ops teams to build and maintain the data foundations & pipelines that underpin intelligent systems, from entity resolution and confidence scoring to structured data pipelines and insight generation.\nThis role is well suited to a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their career who has strong fundamentals and a genuine appetite to grow in a modern AI engineering environment.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign and maintain data pipelines that ingest, clean, and normalise data from structured and unstructured sources\nBuild logic and confidence scoring frameworks to produce trusted, conflict-free data records\nClean and validate data to ensure uniformity, accuracy, and consistency across sources\nProduce exploratory data analysis and visualisations to surface trends, anomalies, and best path forward to create data ready for AI solutions\nCollaborate with AI Engineers & ML Devops to ensure clean, well-attributed data reaches downstream models \nAnalyse AI agents usage across the business \nTechnologies: Python, R, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Jupyter, Dbt, Spark, PowerBi, Git, REST APIs\nSkills and experience:\nCore Analytical Skills:\n Data wrangling, cleaning, and normalisation for structured & unstructured data\nData validation to ensure uniformity and feature engineering when needed\nEntity resolution and deduplication\nExploratory data analysis (EDA)\nData quality assessment and monitoring\nClear technical documentation\nProficiency in Python\nData Visualisation:\nDesigning clear, insight-driven charts and graphs\nPresenting data in pictorial and summary formats\nTranslating complex analysis into accessible visuals\nBuilding dashboards and reporting outputs\nProfessional skills:\n Clear communication of technical findings to non-technical audiences\nCollaborative working with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders\nStructured, methodical approach to problem solving\nWillingness to ask questions and learn from feedback\nNice to have:\nExposure to NLP or text classification\nFamiliarity with graph & semantic layers\nExperience with cloud data platforms\nUnderstanding of AI data governance principles\nAbout Us\nSCC is Europe's largest privately-owned IT business, based out of the new £7m HQ office in Birmingham and we help clients succeed through IT transformation and exceptional customer experiences.
