ScentAir’s global controllership organization and be responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across the U.S. and international entities.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role for a strong technical accounting professional who can also drive process improvement, systems transformation, financial discipline, and scalability as ScentAir continues to grow and prepare for future strategic opportunities.\nThe ideal candidate will be a strong business partner to the CFO, Finance leadership, Operations, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and IT.\nKey Responsibilities\nGlobal Controllership & Financial Reporting\nLead the global accounting and controllership function across all ScentAir entities.\nOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, achieving a 5-business-day close.\nEnsure accurate and timely financial statements, consolidation, and management reporting.\nOwn balance-sheet integrity, including reconciliations, reserves, and resolution of aged items.\nOversee intercompany accounting and establish consistent accounting policies and practices globally.\nImprove visibility and control over working-capital drivers, including AR, inventory, AP/GRNI, accruals, and reserves.\nAccounting & Cost AccountingOversee core accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, revenue recognition, and accruals.\nLead technical accounting for complex transactions and business initiatives.\nOwn governance of standard costing, cost rolls, BOMs, overhead allocations, inventory valuation, and manufacturing/supply-chain variances.\nImprove controls around physical inventory, cycle counts, obsolete inventory, landed cost, freight, and GRNI.\nPartner with Operations and FP&A to improve cost accounting, COGS, inventory, and profitability reporting across North America, Europe, and APAC.\nSystems & Finance TransformationOwn finance’s role in the continued stabilization and development of ScentAir’s ERP and financial systems.\nDrive improvements across Infor SyteLine/CSI, Salesforce, Power BI, and related finance applications.\nEstablish strong financial data governance across the chart of accounts, entities, products, customers, cost centers, and reporting definitions.\nEnsure ERP, Salesforce, and Power BI reporting reconcile to one consistent source of financial truth.\nIdentify opportunities to automate processes, improve data quality, and eliminate manual work.\nControls, Audit & International FinanceStrengthen the global internal control environment and accounting processes.\nLead the annual audit and serve as the primary accounting contact for external auditors.\nEnsure timely resolution of audit findings and control deficiencies.\nOversee accounting for international subsidiaries and ensure appropriate local and U.S. GAAP reporting.\nPartner with Tax and external advisors on transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and other international matters.\nSupport refinancing, due diligence, and other strategic financial initiatives.\nLeadership & Business PartnershipLead, develop, and mentor the global accounting organization.\nManage and develop a global accounting team of seven direct reports, establishing clear accountability, priorities, and performance expectations.\nEstablish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations.\nPartner with the CFO and executive leadership on financial and operational decisions.\nBuild a scalable controllership organization capable of supporting continued growth and future strategic opportunities.\nRequired QualificationsActive CPA license.\nBig 4 public accounting experience.\n12+ years of progressive accounting & controllership experience.\nExperience leading a global or multi-entity accounting organization.\nStrong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting knowledge.\nStrong experience with close, consolidation, audit, internal controls, and financial reporting.\nExperience with ERP systems and finance transformation.\nStrong inventory and cost accounting experience.\nExperience with international entities and intercompany accounting.\nDemonstrated ability to improve processes, systems, and controls rather than simply maintain them.\nStrong leadership, communication, and team-development skills.\n Preferred QualificationsExperience in a private equity-backed or sponsor-owned company.\nManufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or another operationally complex environment.\nExperience with Infor SyteLine/CSI, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar systems.\nM&A integration or financial due diligence experience.\nExperience supporting refinancing, transaction, or exit readiness.\nExperience operating in a fast-growing environment where processes and systems are still
