Junior Packaging Technician The Jr Packaging Line Operator / Technician is responsible for supporting the setup, operation, and monitoring of filling, packaging, labeling, and coding equipment. This role works closely with senior technicians and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This is a hands-on, mid level role ideal for someone looking to grow their technical skills in a manufacturing environment. The Technician will report to the Lead Technician. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Make-Ready & Line Setup Perform complete setup and changeovers on filling labeling and coding equipment. Install tooling, adjust guides/nozzles, mount film/label rolls, configure print files, and set sensor positions. Conduct line clearance and verify all components match batch documentation. Complete startup checklists and authorize the line for production. Automatic Filling Line Operation Operate and monitor filling, capping, crimping, and in-line labeling modules. Make mechanical and electronic adjustments to maintain speed and product quality. Address line stoppages and escalate larger issues when necessary.
