This role ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient execution of all warehouse activities - from order picking and staging through quality control and shipping. The Warehouse Lead is both a hands-on operator and a frontline people leader, coaching associates, driving performance, and continuously improving processes to meet and exceed facility benchmarks.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nShift Leadership & Operations\nRun structured daily shift briefings and debriefs, setting clear priorities and expectations\nAssign tasks based on volume, associate strengths, and operational priorities\nManage shift performance to ensure on-time completion of all work orders and KPIs\nEscalate issues proactively - resolve problems before they impact downstream operations\nPresent weekly shift KPIs (UPH, order accuracy, on-time completion) to leadership\nWork Order & Inventory Management\nExecute the full work order lifecycle independently: picking, staging, transfers, bulk processing, and QC documentation\nOwn cycle count scheduling and inventory reconciliation for assigned zone\nEnsure zero work order errors on shift; investigate and document root causes when issues arise\nMaintain strict adherence to brand-specific storage logic and location ownership rules\nNever adjust inventory outside your team's designated locations without prior communication\nSNAP System Operations\nNavigate SNAP confidently for task assignments, inventory lookups, and transactions\nExecute all key transaction types: Transfers, STRAs, BRP, and SPW\nTroubleshoot routine SNAP issues independently before escalating to supervisor\nSafety & Compliance\nModel and enforce Scentbird's safety standards and PPE requirements at all times\nCommunicate professionally with peers, leads, and supervisors across all departments\nReport safety concerns and near-misses immediately - zero tolerance for delayed reporting\nMaintain zero safety violations on shift\nTeam Development & Coaching\nDeliver real-time coaching to associates on performance, accuracy, and conduct\nConduct formal performance check-ins for all direct reports\nIdentify high-potential associates for cross-training or advancement opportunities\nRecognize strong performance consistently and address performance gaps directly and professionally\nTrain associates on work order procedures and SNAP operations\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nBuild trusted working relationships across Warehouse, Manufacturing, Quality, and Inventory Control\nPartner with Receiving, Transportation, and Procurement to resolve SLA issues proactively\nParticipate in capacity planning for upcoming peak periods\nCommunicate operational changes and risks to all affected teams - no surprises\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify recurring floor pain points and develop documented solutions aligned with management\nLead Continuous Improvement and 5S initiatives from kickoff through completion\nSubmit operational improvement roadmaps with clear owners and timelines\nDocument before/after results and share outcomes with the team and leadership\nSUCCESS METRICS\nOrder accuracy at or above 99%\nShift KPIs (UPH, on-time completion) at or above facility benchmark\nZero safety violations on shift\nAll associates receive regular coaching and formal performance check-ins\nAt least one measurable process improvement delivered within the first 90 days\nPartner teams recognize the Warehouse Lead as a reliable, solutions-first collaborator\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nDemonstrated experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics operations\nPrior experience in a team lead, supervisor or frontline leadership role\nProficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory transaction processes\nStrong communication skills - written and verbal - across all levels of the organization\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment\nCommitment to safety, accuracy, and accountability\nPreferred\nExperience with SNAP or similar WMS platforms\nFamiliarity with 5S, Lean, or Continuous Improvement methodologies\nExperience in a subscription-box, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment\nBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis is an on-site, full-time position based at Scentbird's warehouse facility. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. Schedule may include early morning, evening, or weekend shifts depending on operational needs.
