Operations and Application Management\nSupport the operation and lifecycle management of engineering simulation / CAE applications such as Ansys, Abaqus, HyperWorks or FloEFD \nCoordinate software releases, updates, patching, and maintenance activities \nProvide 2nd and 3rd level support for technical issues and incidents \nMonitor application performance, usage, and availability \nSupport license compliance and usage monitoring \n- Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer\n2. Stakeholder Collaboration\nWork closely with engineering teams, IT colleagues, product owners, and vendors \nSupport the implementation of approved enhancements and business requirements \nCommunicate application changes, updates, and relevant operational topics to users and stakeholders \nSupport global users and collaborate across regions and functions \n3. Security, Compliance, and Change Management\nSupport security, compliance, and change management processes \nEnsure that application-related activities follow internal standards and governance requirements \nAssist with access control, release coordination, and documentation of changes \nSupport audit-related activities where required \n4. Continuous Improvement and Automation\nIdentify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement \nSupport the optimization of workflows and operational processes \nUse scripting and automation tools such as Python or PowerShell where applicable \n5. Budget, Cost Management, and Charging\nSupport monitoring and management of application-related costs \nAssist with budget planning and forecasting for licensing, maintenance, training, enhancements, and external services \nContribute to cost transparency and support decision-making for application-related investments \nMonitor usage trends to help optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation \nSupport the creation of cost charging models and the calculation and allocation of charges to users or business units.\nYour Qualifications\nExperience with mechanical simulation or engineering simulation / CAE applications (ANSYS, ABAQUS, COMSOL, Siemens FloEFD, Altair Hyperworks) \nBasic understanding of IT infrastructure and application operations \nScripting or automation skills, e.g. Python, PowerShell \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills \nGood communication and stakeholder management skills \nAbility to work in global and cross-functional teams \nInterest in and openness to working with AI-supported tools and digital solutions \nEnglish proficiency - working language for technical collaboration\nAs a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
