Besides business operations, Schindler India has its own Corporate R&D Centre, Elevator and Escalator Factory and Shared Service Centre to support India operations, which is in-fact one of the fastest growing market now globally.\nJoin us as a\nSenior Engineer - Finance\nYour main responsibilities\nObjectives:\nPlays a crucial role in determining the total product cost associated with manufacturing or producing a product in Supply chain to generate cost opportunity.\nResponsibilities:\nSet component cost targets based on \"should costing\" methodology.\nCollaborate with plants to make investment analysis, business cases and cost reduction initiatives to achieve Cost Out target.\nCost estimation & analysis for new project/New Code/new product lines to achieve project target/Milestone.\nSupport Make or Buy, negotiation and relocation decisions\nTrack actual costs, benchmark with other zone’s costing, propose process improvement initiatives and lead actions to close target cost gap\nGenerate business case to drive continuous cost leadership together with CCL and Supply modular projects.\nExecute global benchmarking for deep cost driven in each zone.\nShould-costing activities for purchasing price leadership in supply chain.\nWhat you bring\nEducation:\nBachelor’s Engineering\nProfessional skills:\nStrong in all aspects: Analytical, conceptual skill\nGood interpersonal and communication skill.
