Besides business operations, Schindler India has its own Corporate R&D Centre, Elevator and Escalator Factory and Shared Service Centre to support India operations, which is in-fact one of the fastest growing market now globally.\nJoin us as a\nGroup Leader- New Installation (Supervisor)\nYour main responsibilities\nJob Summary :\nThe primary purpose of the role is to oversee the field operations of new installations projects, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to timelines and safety standards.\nRole & Responsibilites :\nOversee the on-site installation and modernization activities, ensuring all projects adhere to established schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.\nCoordinate and manage installation resources, delegating tasks to Fitters for the precise assembly of electrical and mechanical components incl. financial steering.\nProvide technical guidance to field teams, resolving any issues that arise during installations to maintain project continuity and quality.\nConduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with operational policies, safety procedures, and high-quality standards.\nEnsure all installation documentation, including project plans, inspection reports, and compliance records, are accurately maintained and submitted in a timely manner.\nCommunicate effectively and collaborate closely with contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables and maintain sustainable customer relationships and push supplementary sales.\nLead and mentor installation teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while addressing any team or individual performance issues. \nWhat you bring\nQualifications, experience & skills\nQualification: Degree/Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics)\nProfessional Experience :\nAt least 5 years in elevator or manufacturing industry with excellent project management and people skills.\nSkills / Competencies :\n1)Business Acumen\n2)Technical and commercial business know-how\n3)Project management skills\n4)Safety Orientation\nWhat’s in it for you?\nJoin our purpose-driven organization.
