You will collaborate with sales representatives, field superintendents and customers to meet specifications and resolve technical issues.\nProject Management:\nOversee new installation projects to ensure efficient, profitable close-out\nProvide approved submittals and ensure timely delivery of materials from vendors\nCollaborate with the Field Superintendents to monitor job progress and address potential delays with action plans\nPartner with Engineering and local & regional management for successful completion of the project\nMaintain vendor relationships and assist with monthly forecasting and budget planning\nIdentify change notice opportunities, prepare paperwork, and secure customer approvals before work begins\nFinancial Ownership:\nManage project revenue, size, and adherence to fulfillment guidelines\nEnsure timely invoicing, targeting 90% payment prior to elevator turnover\nCustomer Relationship Management:\nEstablish and maintain critical customer relationships to support project success.\nSubmit certified payroll, including tracking worker hours, wages, and fringe benefits in accordance with prevailing wage laws\nQuality & Safety Compliance:\nEnsure compliance with customer and Schindler requirements for quality, performance, and passenger safety\nWhat you will learn\nKnowledge of Schindler’s products, services and fulfillment standards through live classroom trainings, time in the field and self-study learning platforms\nParticipate in a three-day in-person onboarding training focused on New Installation (NI) tools and processes\nBenefit from one-on-one mentorship to enhance your skills and accelerate your understanding of the business\nGain hands-on experience with project management software and organizational tools\nWhat you bring\nBachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years of experience in the elevator industry or in a similar function or industry\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel\nPreferred\nExperience in the construction, elevator or related building systems industry\nFamiliarity with SAP, Lotus Notes, and project management software like Procore\nAbility to read schematics and blueprints\nStrong financial acumen\nWhat’s in it for you?\nFully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.\n3 weeks’ vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 8 Company Observed Holidays.\nTuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.\nParental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of a child’s birth or adoption.\nA wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.\nBase Salary $113,400 - $141,700\nThe above represents the typical salary range for this position.
