By joining us, you don’t just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.\nJoin us as a\nProject Manager Supplier Management\nYour main responsibilities\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nThe Project Manager, Supplier Management is responsible for leading supplier-related initiatives that\nsupport new product introductions, supply continuity, quality performance, cost optimization, and\noperational excellence across the supply chain. This role serves as the primary liaison between\nProcurement, Supplier Development, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to\nensure supplier capabilities, performance expectations, and project deliverables are aligned with\nbusiness objectives.\nThis individual utilizes strong project management disciplines, data analytics, and cross-functional\ncollaboration to deliver measurable business results related to quality, delivery, cost, and supplier\ndevelopment.\nEssential Function\nManage integrated processes between departments\nDrive Standardization and simplification of supplier management\nprocesses across the organization.\nEnsure PRRs (Product Readiness Reviews) and SAs (Supplier\nAssessments) are reviewed, completed, and compliant.\nEnsure Quality Audits are reviewed and completed.\nElevate supplier issues to SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) for\ncorrective action.\nProject Management\nManage cross-functional stakeholder alignment among Procurement,\nEngineering, Quality, Operations, Product Management, and\nFinance.\nTrack and communicate new supplier selection.\nDevelop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risk\nassessments, communication plans, and status reporting\nmechanisms.\nMonitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement\nmitigation plans to prevent schedule or impacts.\nSupplier Relationship Management\nIdentify, evaluate, develop & maintain - lead structured and crossfunctional approach to performance management.\nEstablish, monitor, and communicate supplier performance metrics\nincluding quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness, cost\ncompetitiveness, and capacity utilization.\nMaintain supplier management dashboards, KPIs, reporting tools,\nand performance analytics.\nHold accountable to KPI’s.\nContract execution driving key legal & commercial inputs.\nLead supplier-related projects from initiation through execution and\nsustainment, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and within\nscope.\nSupport all product initiatives.\nProcesses & Systems\nApply structured problem-solving methodologies to investigate root\ncauses, develop sustainable solutions, and prevent recurrence of\nissues.\nDrive process standardization and continuous improvement\ninitiatives across supplier management and procurement functions.\nCross Functional Leadership\nDemonstrates the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and influence\nleaders, peers, direct reports, suppliers, and cross-functional\npartners to achieve strategic and operational objectives.\nDevelops strong working relationships across all levels of the\norganization and external supplier network to drive alignment and\nexecution.\nFacilitates productive discussions, resolves conflicts constructively,\nand aligns stakeholders around common goals and priorities.\nPromotes a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and\nknowledge sharing.\nWhat you bring\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations\nManagement, or related field preferred.\nExperience\n2-5 years' experience managing RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFPs (Request for Proposals),\nsupplier bid processes, and reverse auctions.\n5-8 years of working knowledge of procurement lifecycle activities, including supplier selection,\nsupplier qualification, contract implementation, and purchase order management.\n5-8 years of comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes, from\nrequisition creation through supplier payment.\nDemonstrated experience utilizing enterprise business systems, including SAP within supply\nchain environments.\nCertifications & Licenses\n6 Sigma, Lean, Quality & other Technical Qualifications or Experience preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and supply chain principles.\nKnowledge of supplier qualification, supplier performance management, and supplier\ndevelopment methodologies.\nUnderstanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders,\nreceiving, invoicing, and payment workflows.\nStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nand deadlines.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make\ninformed decisions.\nStrong negotiation and influencing skills across internal and external stakeholders.\nEffective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.\nAbility to lead cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation and sustainment.\nAbility to influence outcomes and gain stakeholder commitment without direct authority.\nAbility to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, business leaders, and internal\ncustomers.\nTravel/Physical/Other\nWillingness/ Ability to travel, 20%\nWhat’s in it for you?\nFully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans -
