You will be responsible for project coordination, site execution, contract administration, stakeholder management, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Candidates with extensive relevant experience may be considered for a Senior Project Engineer position.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and coordinate lift and escalator projects from commencement through successful completion, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, project schedules, and company standards.\n\nCoordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.\n\nMonitor project progress and site activities, proactively resolving issues, coordinating manpower and resources, and conducting regular site visits to ensure works are completed according to approved specifications and quality standards.\n\nPrepare and manage project documentation, including progress claims, variation orders, project reports, schedules, and updates in VMS and MS Project.\n\nCoordinate authority inspections and statutory requirements, ensuring timely approvals, certifications, and follow-up on payment claims.\n\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and monitor adherence by main contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel at all project sites.\n\nSupport project performance and customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nMobility needs you\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or site management preferably within the lift & escalator\n\nKnowledge of project planning, site coordination, contract administration, and progress claims.\n\nFamiliarity with JKKP requirements and lift & escalator installation standards will be an added advantage.\n\nGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.\n\nGood command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE), Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME), or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.\n\nDo you want to move the future with us?\nIf so, we would like to meet you, and look forward to receiving your complete application documents.\nJuelena Lee Joeson\n\nwww.schindler.com\nAt Schindler Group we value inclusion and diversity, and practice equity to create equal opportunities for all.
