The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to support a broad range of legal, compliance, litigation, and operational matters while working closely with attorneys and business stakeholders across the organization.\nThe successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, a willingness to take ownership of projects, and the adaptability to manage shifting priorities and emerging deadlines. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping the legal department support the company's operational, compliance, and litigation objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nConstruction and Compliance Support\nAssist with internal processes relating to construction projects funded by federal, state, or other public sources.\nSupport compliance initiatives involving government contracting requirements, domestic preference laws, and project documentation.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders to gather and maintain information required for public and private construction projects.\nPrequalification Management\nCoordinate and manage company responses to customer and contractor prequalification questionnaires and bid application requirements.\nMaintain and update company prequalification materials, databases, and supporting documentation.\nWork with business units to collect and verify information needed for bid submissions and customer requests.\nForensic Collections and Employee Departures\nCoordinate forensic collection and preservation of company devices and electronic information for departing employees and other investigative matters.\nWork closely with internal IT, Human Resources, and legal personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.\nGeneral Legal Department Support\nAssist attorneys with a variety of legal, compliance, operational, and corporate matters.\nMaintain accurate records and track key deadlines and deliverables.\nSupport special projects and other assignments as needed.\nWhat you bring\nRequired\n4-6 years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department.\nExperience working in a small team environment with significant responsibility and cross-functional interaction.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines.\nExperience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.\nBachelor's degree required\nParalegal Certificate \nPreferred\nExperience supporting litigation, investigations, e-discovery, or compliance matters.\nFamiliarity with electronic data collection and legal hold processes.\nExperience supporting construction, government contracting, or procurement-related matters.\nKnowledge of records management and document review platforms.\nDesired Attributes\nCollaborative and team-oriented.\nEager to learn and grow professionally.\nAdaptable and comfortable handling a wide variety of assignments.\nProactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.\nAble to exercise sound judgment and work independently when appropriate.\nCommitted to delivering high-quality work in a dynamic environment.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nFully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.\n3 weeks’ vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 8 Company Observed Holidays.\nTuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.\nParental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of a child’s birth or adoption.\nA wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.\nWe Elevate… Your Career\nBecome part of our team, help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
