By joining us, you don’t just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.\nJoin us as a\nSupplier Quality Engineer\nYour main responsibilities\nConduct initial and periodic supplier audits to assess quality systems, manufacturing processes, and compliance with company standards.\nDevelop and maintain supplier audit schedules and reports.\nTrack and analyze supplier performance metrics such as defect rates, delivery reliability, and responsiveness.\nMaintain supplier scorecards and communicate results to suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nIdentify trends and areas for improvement based on data analysis.\nInvestigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including non-conformances, defective materials, and process failures.\nLead root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, and Five Whys.\nCoordinate and verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nWork with suppliers to implement process improvements, reduce waste, and optimize quality.\nFacilitate workshops and training sessions for suppliers on quality tools and best practices.\nProvide technical guidance to suppliers regarding product specifications, quality standards, and testing requirements.\nCollaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, procurement) to resolve technical and quality issues.\nAssess and mitigate risks associated with supplier quality, including supply chain disruptions and compliance failures.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.\nAct as the primary point of contact for supplier quality issues and initiatives.\nWhat you bring\nBachelor's degree\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer\nLean Six Sigma Certification\nEngineering understanding (mechanical and electrical; print reading) \nSupplier Quality Management\nAnalytical competency (data mining, problem analysis; strong Excel skills)\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills \nWorking knowledge of SAP or equivalent\nWhat’s in it for you?\nFully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.\n3 weeks’ vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 8 Company Observed Holidays.\nTuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.\nParental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of a child’s birth or adoption.\nA wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.\nWe Elevate… Your Career\nBecome part of our team, help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
