Schindler products can be found in many well-known buildings throughout Canada, including Scotia Plaza, Bay & Adelaide, Edmonton Arena, Calgary Airport, and Vancouver Canada Line.\nJoin us as a\nWarehouse Coordinator\nYour main responsibilities\nPrimary Function\nRegular review of field tooling and safety equipment requirements\nMaintain and update tool calibration database, and schedule calibrations\nOrder parts, tools and equipment within our procurement guidelines and maintain supplier relationships.\nIssue and file purchase requisitions\nClaims management with the factory.\nManagement and delivery of tooling and equipment for job start.\nSupport supervisors with special projects and initiatives as well as day to day activities where required\nAssist with field visitations to assess readiness/progression of site conditions and its activities\nSupport health and safety processes and initiatives\nEnsure ISO compliance and support initiatives to ensure exceptional quality standards are met\nPrepare various reports utilizing SAP and MS Office\nDevelop and maintain departmental procedures, and search for opportunities to streamline processes\nWarehouse Responsibilities\nOverall responsibility for the organization, cleanliness and management of the warehouse, including inventory control and parts ordering, return of used and damaged parts, and safety as it relates to the Schindler Joint Health and Safety Committee and policy requirements and ISO standards\nHandling and storage of material, including shipping and receiving, ordering supplies, reviewing of all incoming material against packing slips and purchase orders, and out-going material with material requisitions and shipping documents\nControl renewal parts system and procedures including data entry, issuing purchase requisitions for stock and nonstock material as required, inventory activity records and shipping reports\nAssist in the coordination of service and maintenance of Schindler’s fleet vehicles\nMaintain accurate records and logs for vehicles, rental equipment, safety equipment and jumpers.\nEffective record keeping in real time for specific site needs (what is needed, where and when)\nDrive vehicles to transport materials to and from specified destinations\nAbility to drive vehicles with a tandem open utility trailer attached\nCoordinate deliveries of material to job sites as requested\nDetermine the most practical and time efficient route while avoiding truck-restricted routes\nLoad and unload freight\nOrganize and maintain warehouse including housekeeping\nMaintaining consumables and management of recycled material\nWhat you bring\nKnowledge\nPost Secondary -Preferably in a technical field.\nAppropriate Driver’s License\nCritical Skills\nProficient in MS Office\nCommunication: Good verbal and written communication skills\nCustomer Service: Demonstrate customer focus through improving performance\nOrganization: Possess excellent organization skills with the ability to balance high volume of activities and changing priorities\nPresentation: Ability to present materials clearly\nProblem Solving: Information seeking and achievement orientation, ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively \nTeamwork: Ability to interact with all levels and foster a teamwork relationship\nDemonstrate the ability to embrace new concepts and change as well as seek new ways of doing things\nWhat’s in it for you?\nCompetitive Salary (commensurate with experience)\nCompetitive Bonus Incentive Program or Commission Plan\nWide range of professional and leadership development opportunities\nCompetitive Extended Health, Dental & Vision Plans\nGenerous Paid Time Off Plans\nTuition Reimbursement Program\nCompetitive Group RRSP with Company Match\nThe salary range for this position is $52,000 to $62,000 CAD.\nThis range represents base salary only and does not include bonus, incentive compensation, or benefits.
