Be part of a company that supports innovation, prioritises quality, and puts its customers at the heart of everything we do.\nJoin us as a\nLift Repair Engineer\nWe are looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to join Rubax covering South London, responsible for carrying out a wide range of lift repair and upgrade works across various equipment types. The role includes fault finding, conducting site surveys, ordering materials, and completing both planned and reactive repairs. You will also be responsible for upgrading obsolete equipment and carrying out health and safety improvements to ensure compliance with industry standards. Working closely with the Service Department, you will help return lifts to service efficiently, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and sites are left clean, safe, and tidy.\nYour main responsibilities\nCompleting repair work within agreed timescales\nReturning out-of-service lifts to operation where possible\nSupporting the Service Team with fault finding and repairs\nUsing technical drawings, manuals, and written instructions effectively\nCarrying out product corrective actions as required\nConducting site surveys to identify repair requirements and support accurate quotations\nCompleting service records and PDA reports accurately and in detail\nCommunicating professionally with customers and colleagues, providing updates as needed\nFollowing all Company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and UK legal requirements\nDemonstrating safe working practices at all times\nUsing handheld devices and other technology to record work activities\nSupporting Repair Apprentices with their training and NVQ qualifications\nPromoting a strong culture of safety and compliance across all work activities\nWhat you bring\nProven experience in Lift Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferred (min 5 years)\nQualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift maintenance/repairs \nThe ability to work under pressure and to deadlines\nFlexibility\nGood problem solving skills\nGood communication skills at different levels (client/Inspectors/Managers)\nFull UK driving License required \nWhat’s in it for you?\nWhen you join Rubax, you'll be part of a supportive and ambitious team committed to delivering exceptional service across the UK.
