By joining us, you don’t just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.\nJoin us as a\nSr Project Manager EI\nYour main responsibilities\nAs a Senior Project Manager EI, you will display leadership skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to managing customer relationships for elevator and escalator services. Oversee servicing, maintenance, repair and upgrades of assigned units to meet customer and company standards for quality, safety and cost management. Support area P&L objectives through effective project oversight and employee management.\nAccount Management\nBuild and manage favorable client relationships with building owners and property managers to secure and renew maintenance/service agreements\nRespond to customer inquiries and prepare estimates to ensure satisfactory resolution\nNegotiate contract terms favorable to the company while also delivering on customer requirements\nDrive sales KPIs including Time and Material processing, repair bookings and capital planning\nPartner with Business Services Center to validate accounts receivable information, ensuring timely and accurate payments\nOperations & Field Management\nBuild a safe and effective team environment by leading field technicians to ensure maintenance meets quality standards as well as contract requirements\nResponsible for coordinating routes, scheduling, ordering parts and verifying payroll accuracy\nwhile assuring fulfillment standards\nEducate technicians on processes, tools and standards through training and performance programs thereby continuously improving service delivery\nManage logistics and implement preventive maintenance strategies\nCommunication, Collaboration & Problem Solving\nAct as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customer to investigate, resolve and address any operational challenges that may arise\nMaintain relationships with local IUEC business agents and communicate effectively to resolve disputes\nPartner with New Installation and Modernization Project Managers during contract conversions to ensure customer satisfaction\nCollaborate with engineers, technical service staff, and contractors to optimize project workflows and identify potential efficiencies or improvements\nQuality and Safety\nPerform regular site inspections to deliver exceptional service, maintenance, warranty and repair offerings.\nConduct Field Safety Audits at required intervals to ensure technicians understand and follow safe work practices\nEnsure compliance with established policies and procedures\nParticipate in internal management meetings on both the local and national level.\nWhat you will learn\nKnowledge of Schindler’s products, services and fulfillment standards through live classroom trainings, time in the field and self-study learning platforms\nParticipate in a three-day in-person onboarding training focused on Existing Installations (EI) tools and processes\nDevelop and hone entrepreneurial skills by taking ownership of projects allowing you to display strategic thinking similar to owning your own business within the company\nBenefit from one-on-one mentorship to enhance your skills and accelerate your understanding of the business\nGain hands-on experience with project management software and organizational tools\nWhat you bring\nBachelor’s degree or an equivalent 8+ years of experience, preferably in a similar function or industry\nStrong problem-solving, time management, communication and interpersonal skills; proven leadership skills\nResourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented\nProficiency in MS Office suite\nAdaptability to work in a fast-paced environment\nFlexibility to be on-call as needed and balance a mix of office and fieldwork\nAbility to empathize, listen and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships\nWorking knowledge of SAP and elevators/escalators\nHVAC, building automation, facilities maintenance, electrical or plumbing experience\nWhat’s in it for you?\nFully vested 401k match, up to 7% of total eligible compensation.\nCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Effective from first day of hire.\n3 weeks’ vacation which increases with tenure, 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 8 Company Observed Holidays.\nTuition Reimbursement - Eligible after 6 months of service.\nParental Leave - 100% base pay for 6 consecutive weeks within first year of a child’s birth or adoption.\nA wide range of development opportunities to boost your professional and leadership growth.\nWe Elevate… Your Career\nBecome part of our team, help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
