This role combines hands-on development (~50%), delivery ownership, and people leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nDelivery & Execution\nOwn end-to-end delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and commitments\nLead release/season planning with product and business stakeholders\nIdentify risks, manage dependencies, and drive mitigation\nAgile Leadership\nDrive sprint execution and agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)\nPartner with/act as Scrum Master to ensure delivery efficiency\nContinuously improve team processes and prioritization\nPeople Management\nManage career development, performance reviews, and growth planning\nOversee resource allocation, leave planning, and vendor management\nStakeholder Collaboration\nAct as the primary point of contact for team communication and escalations\nCollaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams\nEnsure transparency through regular updates\nTechnical Contribution\nContribute significantly to coding, design, and code reviews\nUphold standards for code quality, security, and performance\nRequired Qualifications:\nTechnical Expertise\n5+ years of development experience in Java and/or Angular\nStrong knowledge of design patterns, coding best practices, and scalable systems\n2+ years of experience in technical design and solutioning\nLeadership & Communication\nProven experience leading engineering teams\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nDevSecOps & Quality\nExperience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices\nFamiliarity with tools like SonarQube, Mend, or similar\nModern Engineering\nExposure to AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)\nStrong understanding of secure coding and vulnerability management\nPreferred Qualifications\nAgile/Scrum experience\nOil & Gas domain exposure (E&P preferred)\nAbility to balance hands-on development and leadership\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
