This is your chance to expand your knowledge, develop your skills and help organizations thrive!\nAs a Tax Winter Intern, you work as a member of the engagement team and are responsible for a variety of assigned projects that assist with the completion of the engagement - primarily the preparation of corporate and individual tax returns. Our winter session runs from early-January to late-April, and while flexibility is at the core of our culture, we expect interns to be available during working hours - Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5.\nLearn more about what it’s like working at Schneider Downs here: https://tinyurl.com/yc3y3dpf \nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nSupport various assigned projects that assist with the completion of the engagement, including both tax compliance and tax consulting matters\n\nResearch and analyze accounting and tax-related issues\n\nUtilize data extraction, data analytics and data visualization tools to bring insight to clients\n\nProactively interact with engagement team to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\n\nMust be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting\n\nMust have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028, and be available to begin full-time work between January 2028-October 2028\n\nA preferred overall GPA of 3.3 (3.0 minimum), or combination of educational success and applicable work and/or volunteer experience\n\nPlans to pursue minimum requirements for CPA eligibility\nOur internship program is designed to provide meaningful work experiences while supporting our firm's growth.
