In this role, you will work closely with the team to advise clients on various regulatory risks, as well as identify solutions for accounting, audit or other related challenges. That's why we've embraced a hybrid work model, allowing you to enjoy the flexibility of working from home as well as in the office.\nLearn more about what it’s like working at Schneider Downs here: https://tinyurl.com/52t4kshw \nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships on various audit and consulting/compliance engagements\n\nDemonstrate knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, applying industry knowledge and expertise\n\nLead the development of the audit approach, applying applicable standards and firm audit methodology\n\nManage engagement workflow and engagement team resources\n\nProvide a coordinated client service approach, working with other practice units to provide industry knowledge and insight to clients in a variety of industries\n\nReview engagement profitability and prepare and analyze monthly billing for assigned engagements\n\nDemonstrate strong analytical skills and working knowledge of accounting software\n\nProvide leadership, counseling and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team\n\nRepresent firm and build relationships by attending fundraisers, meetings with prospects/bankers, charitable events, professional organizations, etc.\n\nAid in identifying opportunities and developing strategies for entry into new markets and clients\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\nRequired:\n\nBachelor’s degree in accounting\n\nMinimum of eight years of public accounting experience\n\nCPA certification\nPreferred:\n\nExperience serving clients in the construction and/or retail industries\nOther:\n\nAbility to extract, analyze, visualize and present data in a clear and meaningful way\n\nStrong leadership, training and mentoring skills, with a genuine interest in helping others grow\nWHERE CULTURE COUNTS\nAt Schneider Downs, our culture is our identity.
