As the Senior FP&A Analyst, you will support leaders across multiple practices, providing financial insights that drive strategic decision-making. We are also open to individuals working remotely for this opportunity if they are within driving distance from our clients and offices.\nLearn more about what it’s like working at Schneider Downs here: https://tinyurl.com/52t4kshw \nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nAlong with the Senior Manager, FP&A, serve as a key business partner with practice unit leaders to provide analysis and decision support to enable the achievement of firm goals and financial objectives\nSupport month end close reporting and analysis\nPartner with the Senior Manager, FP&A to own the annual budget process end-to-end, moving from a top-down approach to a bottoms-up model built and maintained in partnership with practice unit leaders\nWork with practice unit leaders to develop and maintain quarterly forecasts\nSupport firm-wide reporting requirements by building reports that meet stakeholder needs Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI \nMaintain the firm’s long-term financial model, updating and creating various scenario options\nConduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support investments and new business initiatives\nSupport the leadership team in the preparation of regular shareholder, board and firm meeting materials\nProvide exceptional internal customer service and build strong relationships across departments\nServe as a trusted advisor, exhibiting executive presence in interactions with senior leadership and practice unit leaders\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field \nMinimum of three years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including the ability to build and maintain complex models and to consolidate data from disparate sources into succinct, sustainable reporting formats\nPreferred:\nExperience with Power BI or other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) for advanced business intelligence and information reporting\nExperience with FP&A software (e.g., Vena, Datarails, Workday Adaptive Planning)\nExperience serving as a finance business partner to senior leadership\nExperience with FP&A/reporting system implementation\nExperience building a bottoms-up budget or forecast model from the ground up\nCPA and/or MBA designation\nOther:\nStrong critical thinking and analytical skills, and the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to senior leadership\nExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to succinctly and efficiently communicate complex topics\nProven ability to work independently and execute key deliverables with minimal oversight\nComfort operating with incomplete information, using sound judgment and prior experience to make decisions and drive alignment with leadership rather than waiting for direction \nUnderstands the details, but able to operate and summarize information at a high level to provide leadership with the right information needed to make quick decisions\nStrategic business mindset with the ability to think ahead about potential risks, opportunities and having the ability to understand or estimate financial and operational impacts\nAdvanced skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications\nExperience working with large data sets and disparate systems\nDemonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, including with IT/Data teams\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work\nExperience leading projects and driving process improvements\nWHERE CULTURE COUNTS\nAt Schneider Downs, our culture is our identity.
