The role involves ownership of intercompany balances, Goods in Transit (GIT), Netting and Allocation Processes (NAP), Hold Accounts, AP/AR reconciliations, and GRIR analysis while collaborating with global stakeholders.\nIntercompany Accounting\nManage end-to-end intercompany accounting processes across multiple legal entities.\nEnsure timely recording, validation, and settlement of intercompany transactions.\nPrepare and post intercompany journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.\nInvestigate and resolve intercompany mismatches and reconciliation differences.\nCoordinate with regional finance teams to clear aged outstanding balances.\nGoods in Transit (GIT)\nPerform monthly review and reconciliation of Goods in Transit balances.\nAnalyze aging items and collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and business teams for timely resolution.\nEnsure accurate recognition of inventory and corresponding intercompany entries.\nMonitor open transit transactions and support period-end reporting requirements.\nNAP (Netting and Allocation Process)\nExecute intercompany netting activities and settlement processes.\nValidate netting positions and ensure proper allocation of balances between entities.\nInvestigate exceptions and discrepancies in netting cycles.\nSupport cash settlement and treasury teams during intercompany settlements.\nHold Account Management\nReview and reconcile hold/suspense accounts on a periodic basis.\nAnalyze unidentified transactions and coordinate with stakeholders for proper classification.\nEnsure timely clearance of outstanding hold balances and maintain supporting documentation.\nDrive reduction of aged items through regular follow-up and escalation.\nAccounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Reconciliation\nPerform monthly AP and AR intercompany reconciliations.\nReconcile sub-ledger balances with general ledger accounts.\nInvestigate and resolve invoice, payment, and booking discrepancies.\nWork with global counterparts to achieve intercompany balance alignment before close.\nEnsure compliance with account reconciliation policies and SOX/internal control requirements.\nGRIR (Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt)\nReview and reconcile GRIR accounts on a monthly basis.\nAnalyze aged GRIR items and coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and AP teams for resolution.\nMonitor unmatched goods receipts and invoices.\nEnsure accurate accruals and timely clearing of open GRIR balances.\nSupport audit requests by providing detailed reconciliation and supporting documents.\nMonth-End Close Activities\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.\nPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and review schedules.\nEnsure all reconciliations are completed within agreed timelines.\nProvide variance analysis and commentary on key balance sheet accounts.\nSupport internal and external audits.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.\nCA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.\n3-8 years of experience in Intercompany Accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or General Ledger functions.\nStrong understanding of AP, AR, GIT, GRIR, and balance sheet reconciliations.\nExperience working in a shared services/BPO/Global Capability Center environment.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.\nCA/CPA/ACCA/CMA qualification (completed or pursuing) preferred.\n4-6 years of experience in Intercompany Accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or General Ledger accounting.\nStrong understanding of intercompany accounting principles and financial reporting processes.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n Rewards designed for you\nOur Total Rewards is our way of saying: We see you and we value you.
