Is this you?\nThis opportunity is a site-based position with occasional nonstandard hours. There is a 40-hour guarantee (+Overtime), with most work occurring at our outside partnersites.\nAs a Commissioning Engineer, a typical day for you might include:\nTravel in your local region to start up, repair, troubleshoot, modular data centers at our partner sites.\nProblem solving with commissioning technicians, electricians, manufacturing partners, technical support, and Field Service Representatives\nCompletion of commissioning reportsandexpense reports\nAuthoring commissioning test plans\nWorking with your Manager and/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues\nAssisting in the development of our commissioning technicians \nContinuous learning and training on various products both in the field and in the classroom\nOn some days, you may even:\nTravel throughout the US or Mexico to support other manufacturing partner or customer sites outside your local region. This includes overnight travel by vehicle/air. \nAssist and support Project Management on larger system start-ups.\nWork alongside larger teams of FSRs and collaborate with Project Managers on higher complexity projects.\nAct as the lead personnel on behalf of Schneider Electric with our Manufacturing Partners\nThis may be the next step in your careerif you have:\nAn associate or bachelor’sdegree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines. \nThe ability to read blueprints/schematics.\nThorough understanding of principles of AC and DC power, various AC and DC supply circuit components include3-phase power.\nIndustrial and/or Commercial Electrical experience\n 3+ years of field service repair and customer service with Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear and/or UPS (Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power distribution and switchgear, seamless automatic transfer switches (ATS), power distribution units, electrical, electro-mechanical or electronics related equipment. \n5+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.\nEnglish proficiency required to communicate with customers and team members.\nProficient in basic computer skills and systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel; and the ability to navigate and utilize company digital tools and resources.\nMust possess good safety practices and adhere to the company’s safety procedures/polices (lock out tag out, comply with all safety programs and complete safety related trainingon time. \nIdentify hazards present in the work area and report all safety matters, incidents, near misses, to management or safety representative. \nNFPA-70E or OSHA experience is preferred.\nSafe driving and vehicle operations skills\nSkilled at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment \nExperience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and operation manuals.\nThe ability to write service reports, correspondence, procedures, effectively present information and respond to customer questions.\nWork frequently requires strenuous physical tasks, including bending, stooping and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds. \nWork outside in a variety of environmental extremes such as heat, cold, rain, and dust.\nRemain in a standing position for extended periods of time, including working in small, confined spaces.\nWhat we have for you:\nSchneider Electric offers an inclusive benefits package to support all ofour employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being programs, holidays & paid time off, military leave benefits, and more. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
