In this role, you will provide professional on-site services for cooling equipment and systems, including commissioning, technical diagnostics, troubleshooting and customer support.\nYou will work on complex and critical projects, mainly within data center and critical infrastructure environments, supporting equipment such asair- and water-cooled chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, fan walls and liquid cooling systems.\nThis position requires international travel for approximately 70% of working time.\nMain responsibilities\nPerform startup and commissioning across the cooling product range\nEvaluate unit installation, including pipework quality and hydraulic circuits for chillers\nEvaluate system installation and operational conditions\nPerform onsite adjustments to bring equipment to optimal running conditions\nIdentify whether failures are related to quality issues, software issues or operational conditions through root cause analysis\nWork with Schneider Electric service engineers and partners during site interventions\nProperly document, label and return defective parts used in repairs\nTrain Schneider Electric customers on basic equipment operation\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance for cooling systems\nAbout you\nThorough understanding ofHVAC principles, especially cooling, with basic knowledge of electricity\nExperience working independently with general guidance and clear objectives\nStrong commitment to safety policies, practices and procedures\nAbility to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures, professional documents and regulations\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions\nAbility to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously\nWillingness to travel internationally for approximately 70% of working time, and sometimes more\nEducation and experience\nUniversity education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field\nAround 5 years’ experience with commissioning or field service repair of HVAC or cooling equipment\nConfirmed experience with cooling equipment and solutions, such as air cooling, air-cooled chillers or water-cooled chillers\nExperience with precision cooling is a strong advantage\nExperience with HVAC, generators, fire detection or fire suppression systems is an advantage\nFluent communication skills in English, minimum B2 level\nFlexible, reliable and customer-focused mindset\nStrong attention to technical detail\nTeam player with leadership capability\nGood software tool literacy, including MS Office, Acrobat and AutoCAD\nAt Schneider, we believe that every employee is a talent who deserves equal opportunities.
