You'll work closely with Project Managers, customers, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to lead the technical delivery of projects from design through to commissioning and operational handover. Drawing on deep technical expertise, you'll also act as a trusted advisor to customers and mentor junior engineers across the project delivery lifecycle.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nLeading the technical delivery of complex data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects from design through commissioning and closeout.\nProviding engineering oversight across critical cooling technologies, including chilled water systems, precision cooling solutions, DX systems, CRAH and CRAC units, and prefabricated modular infrastructure.\nSupporting installation, testing, commissioning, site acceptance testing, and integrated systems testing activities.\nPartnering with Project Managers to manage technical risks, project outcomes, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.\nActing as the primary engineering interface for customers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.\nReviewing engineering designs, technical documentation, equipment selections, and contractor submissions to ensure compliance with customer requirements and Australian Standards.\nProviding technical leadership, mentoring Project Engineers, and promoting engineering best practice, safety, and continuous improvement across the team.\nSupporting the delivery of innovative \"One Schneider\" solutions across critical power and cooling infrastructure environments.\n What we're looking for:\n\nDegree-qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar.\n7+ years' experience delivering mechanical infrastructure, mission-critical, data centre, or construction projects.\nStrong technical, commissioning, and project delivery experience within critical cooling and mechanical systems environments.\nExperience with technologies such as chilled water systems, chillers, precision cooling, CRAC/CRAH units, and mechanical services infrastructure.\nSolid understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and mechanical building services practices.\nProven ability to manage stakeholders and influence project outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience within hyperscale, colocation, healthcare, utility, industrial, or other mission-critical environments is highly regarded.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to lead high-profile projects, work with industry-leading cooling and critical infrastructure technologies, and contribute to some of the most important facilities supporting Australia's digital future.\nIf you're passionate about delivering complex projects, developing others, and making a real impact in a fast-growing industry, we'd love to hear from you.
