Working closely with sales teams, customers, consultants and internal stakeholders, you'll develop innovative data centre solutions, influence key technical decisions, and help position Schneider Electric to win strategic opportunities.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, solving complex technical challenges, and translating business requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.\nWhat you'll do\nAs the technical lead for strategic opportunities, you'll play a critical role from early-stage customer engagement through to solution development and successful project handover.\nYou'll be responsible to:\nDesign and optimise data centre solutions across power, cooling, monitoring and supporting infrastructure\nPartner with sales teams to develop customer strategies and drive technical engagement throughout the opportunity lifecycle\nDevelop solution designs, cost models, proposals, bills of materials and technical documentation\nLead technical workshops, application sessions and design reviews with customers and consultants\nInfluence specifications and standards through targeted prescription activities and pre-tender engagement\nProvide expert guidance on data centre reliability, energy efficiency and sustainability best practices\nContribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement across the data centre portfolio\nAbout you\nYou'll be the trusted technical authority for data centre power systems, partnering with customers, consultants and design firms to influence critical infrastructure decisions and position Schneider Electric's solutions early in the design cycle.\nYou'll bring:\nDegree or Diploma qualification in Electrical Engineering\n10+ years' experience in application engineering, solution architecture, presales or a similar role within the data centre industry\nGreat knowledge of data centre electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, cooling technologies and monitoring solutions\nExperience designing, developing and optimising integrated data centre solutions\nExperience preparing costings, proposals and technical submissions for complex projects\nUnderstanding of customer requirements and the ability to balance technical, commercial and operational considerations\nWhy join Schneider Electric?\nThis is an opportunity to work on some of the most significant data centre projects across the Pacific region while partnering with industry-leading customers, consultants and technology experts.
