You will bridge technical excellence and commercial strategy to deliver competitive, compliant, and high-quality proposals for customers across North America.\nWhat will you do?\nDevelop technical solutions for customer opportunities involving Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation platforms.\nLead the technical review and definition of control system architectures, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.\nSupport tendering activities by preparing technical proposals, estimating engineering effort, selecting hardware and software solutions, and defining project execution strategies.\nCollaborate with sales, proposal, and engineering teams to develop competitive and technically sound bids.\nAnalyze customer requirements and translate them into robust automation and control system designs.\nIdentify technical risks, assumptions, and deviations during the bid phase and propose mitigation plans.\nProvide technical expertise for projects in the US market, participating in discussions with customers and stakeholders in English.\nWhat are the key skills we are looking for?\n Industrial Control Systems (Advanced) - Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, control logic, and industrial automation architectures.\n Control Engineering (Advanced) - Ability to analyze, review, and define control strategies, control narratives, I/O architecture, and system integration requirements.\n Technical Tendering (Intermediate/Advanced) - Experience developing technical proposals, cost estimates, and bid documentation.\n Requirements Analysis (Advanced) - Ability to interpret customer specifications and convert requirements into effective technical solutions.\nTechnical Risk Assessment - Ability to identify design, execution, and integration risks during the proposal stage.\nProblem Solving - Strong analytical approach to resolving complex technical challenges.\nStakeholder Collaboration - Ability to work effectively with sales, engineering, project management, and customer teams.\nPrioritization & Execution - Capability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.\nWhat qualifications will make you successful?\nBachelor's degree in Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.\nProven experience working with DCS and PLC systems in industrial automation environments.\nExperience supporting tendering, proposals, or front-end engineering activities for automation and control projects.\nStrong understanding of industrial control system design, architecture development, and technical specifications.\n English proficiency at B2-C1 level (required) with the ability to participate in technical discussions, review documentation, and support projects for US customers.\nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and commercial competitiveness.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary and global teams.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with major DCS platforms such as EcoStruxure Foxboro DCS, Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa Centum, or ABB 800xA.\nFamiliarity with industrial communication protocols and system integration.\nExperience estimating engineering hours, hardware, software, and project execution costs during the proposal phase.\nBring your engineering expertise to a team that's ready to welcome you-apply now!\n Rewards designed for you\nOur Total Rewards is our way of saying: We see you and we value you.
