The role converts business needs into secure, maintainable applications, automations, databases, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions, while coordinating with production, engineering, quality, IT, and other stakeholders from concept through deployment and support.\nKey Outcomes\nDigital solutions are delivered safely, on time, and against clearly defined business requirements.\nManual and repetitive work is reduced through fit-for-purpose automation and standardized workflows.\nManufacturing data is reliable, accessible, traceable, and converted into actionable dashboards and insights.\nApplications and automations are documented, tested, adopted by users, and supported through a sustainable lifecycle.\nIT/OT cybersecurity, access control, data protection, and site governance requirements are embedded in every solution.\nWhat will you do?\nBusiness analysis and solution design\nEngage stakeholders to understand operational pain points, map current processes, and define functional and non-functional requirements.\nAssess solution options and recommend an appropriate approach using web applications, low-code platforms, RPA, BI, databases, analytics, or AI.\nPrepare solution concepts, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, effort estimates, risks, and implementation plans.\nEnsure proposed solutions are scalable, maintainable, user-friendly, and aligned with site architecture and governance.\nApplication and database development\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications using .NET/C#, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, LEAP, or approved equivalent technologies.\nDesign and manage Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases, including data models, queries, stored procedures, interfaces, backup considerations, and performance optimization.\nBuild integrations with approved manufacturing or enterprise systems through available APIs, data connectors, files, or database interfaces.\nApply coding standards, version control, peer review, exception handling, logging, reusable components, and technical documentation.\nAutomation and RPA\nIdentify, prioritize, and automate repetitive transactional activities using RPA or workflow automation tools.\nDevelop robust automations with input validation, exception handling, audit trails, monitoring, and recovery procedures.\nMeasure benefits such as cycle-time reduction, error reduction, capacity released, and improved process compliance.\nMaintain the bot and automation portfolio, including ownership, credentials, dependencies, schedules, and change history.\nData analytics, BI, and AI\nCreate and maintain Tableau or equivalent BI dashboards for manufacturing performance, maintenance, quality, capacity, and management reporting.\nClean, transform, validate, and analyze data; investigate abnormal trends and communicate insights clearly to business users.\nDefine data sources, calculation logic, ownership, refresh frequency, access rules, and data-quality checks.\nPrototype responsible AI or machine-learning use cases where there is a clear business problem, validated data, measurable value, and appropriate human oversight.\nProject delivery and user adoption\nLead or coordinate digitalization projects from ideation through requirements, development, testing, deployment, training, stabilization, and handover.\nManage scope, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and stakeholder communication.\nPlan and conduct unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment verification.\nCreate user guides, technical documents, training materials, release notes, and support procedures; collect feedback and drive adoption\nWhat qualifications will make you successful?\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, Data Science, or a related technical field.\n1-3 years of relevant experience in software development, industrial digitalization, automation, data analytics, or a similar role. Strong graduate profiles with relevant projects may also be considered.\nWorking proficiency in C#/.NET and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
