The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust firmware for embedded platforms, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability across multiple products.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and debug RTOS based embedded system firmware\nImplement multitasking systems utilizing:\nTasks, semaphores, mutexes, queues, event flags, timers and interrupts\nDevelop low-level drivers for peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, Ethernet, etc.)\nOptimize firmware for real-time performance, memory usage, and stability\nIntegrate firmware with hardware and collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams\nDebug complex system issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and networking tools\nSupport bring-up of new hardware platforms\nWrite and maintain technical documentation (design specs, APIs, release notes)\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to firmware architecture decisions\nSupport manufacturing, test, and field issues as needed\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\n5+ years of embedded firmware development experience\nExpert-level C programming for embedded systems\nStrong understanding of:\nRTOS concepts (scheduling, priorities, context switching)\nInterrupt handling and real-time constraints\nMemory management in constrained systems\nExperience working with ARM-based microcontrollers (e.g., Cortex-A)\nFamiliarity with embedded toolchains and debuggers (Segger, IAR, Keil, GCC, etc.)\nExperience reading schematics and datasheets\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications\nExperience with bootloaders and firmware upgrade mechanisms\nExperience in networked embedded systems and communication protocols (TLS, HTTP, TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN, USB)\nExperience with unit testing and CI for embedded systems\nFamiliarity with µC/OS-II and other RTOSes (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr)\nSoft Skills\nStrong communication and documentation skills\nAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teams\nComfortable working on complex, long-lifecycle products\nDetail-oriented with a focus on product quality and reliability\nYou must submit an online application to be considered for the position.
