The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic professional with strong technical expertise in Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems, particularly Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and the ability to independently manage customer interactions and site operations.\nThis role requires extensive field experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofit, and testing activities across a wide range of Schneider Electric MV and LV products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Expertise\nAct as an L2 Technical Expert within the Schneider Electric product community.\nServe as an MV/LV specialist with strong protection system knowledge and GIS expertise.\nPerform installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, erection, and maintenance of Schneider Electric MV products and equipment.\nExecute installation and commissioning activities for GIS solutions including:\nGHA\nWS\nGMA\n\nSupport MV switchgear platforms including:MCset\nPIX\nRMU\nFlusarc\n\nSupport LV switchboards, panels, and protection systems.\nMaintenance & Retrofit Activities\nPerform LV troubleshooting, retrofits, mechanical modifications, and busbar alterations.\nConduct maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of installed equipment.\nSupport spare parts, retrofit solutions, extension panel projects, and contract execution activities.\nProtection & Control Systems\nProgram, test, and troubleshoot protection relays, including:SEPAM\nMiCOM\nVIP\n\nKnowledge of protection relays from other manufacturers will be considered an asset.\nTest and commission MV/LV protection systems and associated equipment.\nCustomer Management\nInterface directly with customers to clarify technical requirements and resolve complex technical issues.\nLead site investigations and root-cause analysis activities.\nPrepare detailed technical reports, service documentation, and customer recommendations.\nDeliver product training and operational guidance to customers on Schneider Electric MV/LV equipment.\nWorkshop & Inventory Support\nSupport workshop operations and ensure testing equipment and material stocks are maintained in good working condition.\nAssist planners and project teams in the successful execution of maintenance, retrofit, and extension projects\nKey Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.\nMinimum 8 years of hands-on experience in:GIS installation and commissioning\nMechanical retrofit activities\nBusbar modification and bending\nTesting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MV and LV equipment\n\nStrong communication, customer-facing, and stakeholder management skills.\nFlexible to work on customer sites, including extended hours when required.\nWillingness and medical fitness to work in both onshore and offshore environments.\nStrong digital proficiency and commitment to achieving Schneider Electric KPIs and service excellence standards.\nArabic language skills are an advantage.\nPreferred Certifications & Knowledge\nCertification on Schneider Electric LV switchgear platforms such as:Okken\nBlokset\n\nStrong knowledge of:Masterpact NT/NW circuit breakers\nCompact circuit breakers\nMicrologic trip units\n\nProven understanding of MV/LV system operation, commissioning, and maintenance best practices.\n Rewards designed for you\nOur Total Rewards is our way of saying: We see you and we value you.
