will you do?\nImprove the reliability, availability, and maintainability of manufacturing equipment, with a strong focus on reducing unplanned downtime and recurring failures.\nProvide advanced technical support for complex equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, sensors, and automation systems.\nLead root cause analysis (RCA) for chronic and significant equipment failures using tools such as 5-Why, Pareto analysis, and FMEA, and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nDevelop, optimize, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs based on equipment criticality, failure history, and operating conditions.\nAnalyze equipment performance using OEE, MTBF, MTTR, downtime, work-order history, and failure trends to identify reliability improvement opportunities.\nUtilize SAP/CMMS to maintain equipment records, maintenance plans, task lists, equipment BOMs, spare-parts information, and maintenance history.\nImprove the quality and effectiveness of maintenance work orders and use SAP/CMMS data to identify recurring problems and prioritize improvement activities.\nIdentify equipment design weaknesses and develop engineering modifications and upgrades that improve reliability, safety, maintainability, quality, and equipment performance.\nWork with Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance technicians, OEMs, integrators, and suppliers to design and implement equipment improvements.\nSupport the specification, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new or modified manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on reliability and maintainability.\nSupport TPM and continuous improvement activities to increase equipment availability and production performance.\nProvide technical coaching and knowledge transfer to Maintenance technicians to strengthen troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.\nSupport critical spare-parts strategies and identify opportunities for component standardization and obsolescence reduction.\nPromote safe maintenance and engineering practices while ensuring equipment modifications maintain appropriate safety and quality requirements.\nWho will you report to?\nEngineering & Maintenance Manager\n What qualifications will make you successful?\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\n3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, or a similar equipment-focused engineering role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting complex automated manufacturing equipment and identifying root causes of equipment failures.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial automation systems.\nWorking knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and continuous-improvement methodologies preferred.\nExperience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, or condition monitoring is preferred.\nHands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and/or CMMS systems, including maintenance work orders, equipment records, preventive maintenance plans, and maintenance history.\nExperience working with equipment OEMs, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators.\nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical projects from problem identification through implementation and validation.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and external suppliers.\n At This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
