This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of production equipment while driving continuous improvement through preventive maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, analytical, and technical skills, with a proven ability to develop teams, solve complex equipment issues, and support operational excellence.\nWhat Will You Do?\nLead and manage the maintenance department to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of industrial equipment. \nOversee and drive the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to improve equipment reliability, availability, and overall manufacturing efficiency. \nMonitor equipment performance (OEE), KPIs (MTTR, MTBF…) and implement actions to improve reliability and efficiency. \nManage and develop maintenance team members through goal setting, performance management, coaching, competency development, recognition, employee engagement, and well-being initiatives. \nMonitor and optimize maintenance expenditures, including spare parts inventory management and cost control. \nEnsure business continuity by maintaining equipment readiness and supporting contingency planning for critical manufacturing operations. \nUtilize data and maintenance metrics to identify trends, prioritize actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. \nFoster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. \nRequired Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Electrical)\nMinimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. \n+5 years of maintenance experience supporting industrial manufacturing equipment.\nFluency in both written and spoken Italian and English.\nExperience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). \nProficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. \nBackground in spare parts management and maintenance cost optimization. \nKnowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning tools. \nStrong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage maintenance metrics and performance data to drive decision-making. \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams.\nProficient in Manufacturing Execution System (MES). \nDemonstrated decision-making ability, including prioritizing maintenance activities, allocating resources, and resolving equipment-related issues in a timely manner. \nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma methodologies. \nSAP PM or other maintenance management system experience. \nExperience supporting highly automated manufacturing or assembly operations. \nWhat's in it for me?\nHigh-impact leadership role where your work directly influences plant performance and reliability\nSupportive culture that invests in your professional growth through training and development opportunities\nCollaborative team environment focused on safety, innovation, and operational excellence\nChance to drive meaningful improvements and see the results of your leadership firsthand\nBring your maintenance expertise to a team that values results and people - apply today!\n At Schneider, we believe that every employee is a talent who deserves equal opportunities.
