Early engagement throughout the project lifecycle is essential to improve competitiveness, protect margins, and support both Greenfield, Competitive Migration and Installed Base opportunities.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Procurement\nDevelop and implement project procurement strategies aligned with growth, profitability, cash generation, and project objectives.\nSupport tenders and projects through early supplier integration, sourcing strategy development, and risk mitigation.\nDrive cost optimisation, value engineering, supplier innovation, and competitiveness initiatives through the effective use of digital procurement tools, including e-Sourcing and e-Reverse Auctions (e-RA).\nIdentify, qualify, develop, and manage strategic suppliers, subcontractors, Cabinet Integrators, and logistics partners across Iberia.\nSupport supplier localisation, capacity planning, supplier resilience, and long-term supplier development initiatives.\nContribute to Solution Business Excellence through effective procurement and supply chain practices.\nProject Execution\nLead supplier selection, qualification, commercial negotiations, contract placement, and purchase commitments.\nEnsure customer requirements are effectively transferred into supplier agreements, including appropriate back-to-back commercial protections.\nMonitor and improve supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, safety, sustainability, capacity, and margin objectives.\nDrive supplier development and performance improvement plans to enhance competitiveness, innovation, execution performance, and long-term value creation.\nManage procurement risks, claims, escalations, and supplier performance issues to support successful project execution.\nEnsure compliance with Schneider Electric policies, trade regulations, customs requirements, and ethical standards.\nBusiness Partnership\nPartner with Sales, Tendering, Project Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams to support competitive solutions, effective sourcing strategies, and successful project execution. \nCollaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to deliver savings, margin protection, working capital improvements, and cash-flow objectives. \nSupport regional and global procurement initiatives, category management strategies, supplier development programs, and best-practice sharing. \nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, category teams, and strategic suppliers to support long-term business objectives, market intelligence, and supplier performance.\nTeam Leadership\nLead and to Schneider Electric governance, compliance requirements, and ethical standards.\nQualifications & Experience\nDegree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.\n7+ years of experience in Project Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, or Category Management within industrial, automation, EPC, telecom, energy, infrastructure, marine, or related sectors.\nProven experience managing complex project supply chains, supplier networks, subcontractors, and logistics activities.\nExperience supporting large and complex projects, including EPC, automation, telecom, major automation contracts (MAC), or capital project environments.\nDemonstrated success in commercial negotiations, contract management, supplier development, and supply chain risk mitigation.\nExperience operating effectively within cross-functional and matrix organisations.\nCompetencies\nStrong supplier relationship management, supplier development, supplier performance management, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiation capabilities.\nUnderstanding of project procurement, category management, contract management, governance, and risk management principles.\nCommercial and analytical mindset with a focus on value creation, cost optimization, competitiveness, and margin protection.\nInfluential leadership skills, with the ability to drive alignment and strategic outcomes across suppliers, category teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.\nProficiency in SAP, e-Sourcing, e-Reverse Auctions (e-RA), and other digital procurement tools.\nKnowledge of logistics, international supply chains, trade compliance, sustainable procurement practices, and ESG principles.\nAwareness of industrial cybersecurity requirements and their
