You're part of a global team built on inclusion, mastery, purpose, action, curiosity, and teamwork, turning sustainability ambitions into actions.\nThe Role: Product Applications Engineer II\nThe Product Application Engineer (PAE) is responsible for supporting the technical promotion, application, and business growth of Schneider Electric Power Systems products and solutions in Taiwan.\nThe PAE serves as a product-focused technical expert, providing technical consultation, application support, and product positioning to internal sales teams, channel partners, contractors, consultants, and customers. The role requires a solid understanding of electrical power-system architecture, MV/LV distribution applications, relevant\nproducts, and customer engagement.\nThe PAE works closely with Sales, Offer Marketing, Technical Support, Tendering, and regional product teams to ensure that products are technically competitive, compliant with local requirements, and effectively positioned in\nWhat will you do?\nProduct Application and Technical Support\nAct as the technical expert for designated Power Systems product portfolios, including MV/LV switchgear, RMU, GIS/AIS, transformers, protection relays, switchboards, busway systems, and related digital power offers.\nProvide product application guidance and technical consultation to sales teams, partners, consultants, contractors, and customers.\nSupport product selection, solution configuration, specification review, technical clarification, and compliance assessment throughout the sales cycle.\nReview project requirements and recommend suitable Schneider Electric products and configurations.\nSupport bid preparation, tender clarification, technical submittals, and application documentation.\nProduct Promotion and Business Development\nPromote Schneider Electric Power Systems products and their application value to customers and ecosystem partners.\nSupport sales teams in technical discussions, product differentiation, and competitive positioning.\nParticipate in customer meetings, product demonstrations, technical seminars, and workshops.\nIdentify market opportunities and contribute technical input to product-growth initiatives.\nTraining and Technical Enablement\nConduct product training and technical knowledge-sharing sessions for internal sales teams and channel partners.\nDevelop and maintain application guides, technical documentation, frequently asked questions, and best practices.\nSupport product launches, localization, and technical enablement activities.\nCompliance, Certification, and Market Support\nSupport product compliance with applicable IEC and CNS standards, Taiwan electrical regulations, utility requirements, and local certification processes.\nSupport Taipower 401 certification activities, including document preparation, technical review, type-test evidence, product qualification, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.\nCoordinate product certification, qualification testing, technical assessment, and customer witness activities where applicable.\nCandidates with hands-on experience working with third-party testing or certification bodies, such as Taiwan\nResearch Institute (TRI) and other accredited certification centers, will have an advantage.\nExperience coordinating type tests, routine tests, certification applications, technical reviews, compliance validation, or witness tests is highly preferred.\nCollect customer feedback, competitor information, and market requirements to support continuous product and portfolio improvement.\n What qualifications will make you successful?\nEducation\nBachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nAcademic specialization in power systems, power distribution, protection and control, or energy systems is preferred.\nGraduates of Electrical Engineering programs with a major or concentration in power systems are highly preferred.\nProfessional Experience\n3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, power distribution systems, power equipment applications, proposal engineering, technical support, or technical sales support.\nExperience related to power-system architecture, MV/LV distribution, electrical design, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, or maintenance is an advantage.\nRelevant product experience with switchgear, transformers, protection relays, switchboards, busway systems, or digital power solutions is preferred.\nExperience in semiconductor facilities, data centers, industrial plants, commercial buildings, public infrastructure, utilities, or EPC projects is an advantage.\nTechnical Competencies\nGood understanding of electrical power-system architecture and MV/LV power-distribution principles. \nFamiliarity with power equipment applications, protection and control concepts, and electrical technical specifications.\nKnowledge of IEC standards, CNS standards, Taiwan electrical regulations, utility requirements, and certification processes.\nAbility to analyze product applications, identify technical risks, and propose practical and competitive recommendations.\nCustomer Engagement and Communication\nStrong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
