You will design, develop, and maintain electrical designs with special focus on 3 phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters as assigned. You will join a dynamic and agile team, where we work passionately with product development and maintenance/sustaining end to end activities.\nResponsibilities\nDo specifications, qualification, including laboratory preparation, testing, troubleshooting, reporting;\nReview and ensure the quality of electrical hardware design;\nSupport or build engineering hardware prototypes (electrical design/parts);\nLiaise with both internal and external stakeholders and factories assembly engineers to optimize the design for manufacturing, cost, quality, and efficiency;\nParticipate in design reviews, ensure Electrical hardware design with standard compliance, and write design specifications;\nSpecify and qualify new or alternative electrical components (breakers, fuses, contactors, switches, overvoltage protective devices, power cables, Silicon controlled rectifiers (SCR));\nWhen assigned, evaluate field failure data, investigate to find root causes and provide effective solutions when related to electrical components;\nSpecify and draw power cable and cable harness for UPS or power converters.\nDraw electrical main circuit diagrams;\nPropose and/or contribute to new and innovative ideas to rapidly evolving business development activities;\nSupport, advice, train, coach other team members with regard to technical subject matters;\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nSpecifically, your daily life will be filled with:\nParticipate in the entire product development process from design of prototypes to continuous product increments down to end of life.\nWork with dimensioning, datasheets, tests and standardization\nSpecify UPS installations \nCooperation with external parties, including customers so that we ensure that our solutions are approved\nGather and prepare documentation to share your knowledge throughout our global organization so that everyone is up to date on standardization and installation requirements.\nAll in all, you develop new, technically complex 3 phase UPS products in collaboration with global teams.\n Experience, education, and qualifications\nMust have good and thorough experience in product development, and preferably also in Agile methodology.\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.\nYou must have:\nExperience or interest in electrical design;\nExperience or interest in Labs hands-on and troubleshooting;\nKnowledge in electrical components (Power Cable, busbars, breakers, fuses, contactors, Surge protective devices, etc);\nKnowledge or interest in national electrical codes / standards\nKnowledge of earthing systems and short circuit protection\nDrawings, technical documentation and main circuit diagrams\nIf you also have experience in some of these areas, it will be an advantage:\n3 phase UPS Electrical design;\nDesign for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC);\nPower design studies - interconnects, system balancing, arc flash, harmonics\n3 phase UPS Standards or similar related standards (safety and performance);\nSEE Electrical - Software for drawing electrical diagrams; \nLet us learn about you!
