Facilitate meetings and interviews with customer and sub-consultants.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nWork closely with global and local product management to define and design/redesign mechanical structure of Schneider Electric Enterprise UPS products based upon customer feedback/ requests related to quality improvements or enhancements on existing products\nParticipates in the upstream phase of the study (functional analysis). \nDesigns/develops new products and subassemblies in a specialty. \nConduct and participate in Root Cause Analysis, Brainstorming solutions/suggestions, Validation and verification of solutions until implementation\nValidates design by carrying out Simulations, production of prototypes. \nFully responsible for the complete verification and validation of design standards .\n SKILLS & CAPABILITIES\nProficiency in plastic part and sheet metal design.\nPro/E expertise with large assemblies and sheet metal enclosures.\nExperience in structural analysis and simulations.\nProficiency in GD &T, Tolerance manager, Tolerance stack up analysis\nGood knowledge of Materials and manufacturing process, DFMA\nValidate the prototype as per requirement\nExperience in using design FMEA & Conduct technical review meetings\nExperience in working with High power and large size UPS systems will be an added advantage\nGood knowledge in Electro-Mechanical part/product design.\nGood knowledge in validation/verification of Electro mechanical concepts, parts etc.\nExcellent problem solving ability, with a knack for technical innovation\nAble to work in cross cultural and cross functional global teams.\nExperience in ECO design and QVE activities.\nEDUCATION, EXPERINCE & SKILLS\nMechanical engineering\nMinimum 8 years in the design, application engineering.\nMinimum 3 years on cooling design for Data Centers is desirable.\nGood English speaking, written and verbal skills\nGood Understanding Cooling Components\nGood Communication skills\nGood capability to work in a Multi Discipline Engineering team\nGood acknowledge on Schneider portfolio.\nGood capability to work with Microsoft tools, REVIT, CREO\n Rewards designed for you\nOur Total Rewards is our way of saying: We see you and we value you.
