You'll work at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer success to deliver tailored solutions that drive real business impact.\nYou promote and provide pre-sales support for a broad range of solutions, offers and services in coordination with the country’s industrial and process automation initiatives and aspirations.\nThe Engineer is accountable for prescribing projects ranging from simple equipment to fully engineered solutions with a strong focus on the utilities segment (power, water, etc.).\nResponsibility:\nAct as the technical interface between sales and sales support, LoB and customers in line with the country’s business strategy.\nAct as a technical consultant on the assigned segments to achieve yearly sales target.\nDrive the technical discussion and clarification during the sales cycle with the sales team as the domain expert (including going to customer’s office/site).\nAnimate the sales team by leveraging technical knowledge and ability to reach target as well as pipeline creation.\nWorks closely with all stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.\nUnderstand and identify customer needs and prescribe appropriate Schneider Electric solutions.\nLead/support technical workshops with our targeted customers and partners & become their trusted advisor.\nProvide related products/solutions seminars/enablement to train sales team and partners on SE offers and services as well as specific offer/products.\nProvide relevant product/solution support to the marketing team for Schneider Electric events, exhibits, and workshops (if necessary).\nLead the annual technical certification requirement for the end user (where applicable).\nCoordinate and engage regional technical and sales resources such as solution architects, technical sales consultants, key account managers, business development managers, line of business, etc. to help in crafting the solution and winning the deal (if necessary)\nCoordinate and engage with local and regional partners such as system integrators, strategic partners, etc. in participating in projects and strategizing best action to with the deal (if necessary).\nCoordinate with the tendering team to identify specific or customer technical requirements by the customer.\nDevelop and build processes and best practices (if any) to improve our engagement model with clients and internal stakeholders.\nUnderstand all relevant regulations, standards and codes that drives the solution decision choices, and any certification(s) required.\nSupport local teams and/or SE’s channel partner with initial design and solutions/product enablement.\n Qualifications:\nThe successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.\nAt least 5 years of experience with background in Instrumentation and Control, working with relevant End-Users, Consultants, Contractors.\nGood understanding of market needs and market stakeholders.\nSpecific knowledge preferred:Industrial Automation and Digital solutions (PLC, HMI, VFD, DCS, Safety System, Instrumentation, and Industrial Software)\nUtilities segment such as power generation, power grid and water & wastewater.\nThorough knowledge of Schneider Electric offers and solution will be a plus.\n\nKnowledgeable in project sales and project management.\nAbility to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer.\nGood command of spoken and written English. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools.
