Commissioning - Implementation of Tests\nResponsible for the proper execution of testing and commissioning activities for equipment supplied under the contract.\nPerform testing and commissioning activities in accordance with the schedule established by the Site Works Manager/Coordinator or Project Manager.\nReview, validate, and implement necessary updates to the comprehensive commissioning plan.\nMake decisions on technical matters related to equipment commissioning and provide direction to the commissioning engineers accordingly.\n2. Commissioning - Test Documentation\nRecord all measurements and test results in the designated documentation.\nEnsure test records are signed and validated by the customer or the customer's on-site representative who attended or approved the tests.\n3. Commissioning - Test Tools and Equipment Verification\nVerify that all measurement instruments and testing equipment used on-site are valid, calibrated, and properly maintained.\nNotify the Site Works Manager/Coordinator before calibration certificates expire or if any equipment is found to be in poor condition.\nFollow established procedures for tracking and monitoring tool conditions through the \"Tools Track\" system.\n4. Commissioning - Detection and Reporting of Non-Conformances\nReport any non-conformances and customer reservations to the Site Works Manager/Coordinator or Project Manager using the appropriate NCR and Site Report templates.\nRecord and report all identified punch list items using the designated reporting tools and templates.\nUpdate the event tracker regularly to document issues, observations, and site-related events as require\n5. Reporting of Commissioning and Maintenance Activities\nProvide regular (weekly) reports to the Site Works Manager/Coordinator or Project Manager, including timesheets, spent hours, and site-related costs.\nPropose and implement corrective actions when required, in line with site reporting procedures.\nWork closely with the Technical Leader (Corporate Office) and the execution team.\nRegularly assess project risks and provide the Project Manager or Site Works Manager/Coordinator with mitigation plans and corrective actions.\n6.Coordination of Commissioning Team and Subcontractors\nOrganize and support the commissioning team.\nCoordinate subcontractors and approve their progress reports.\nNotify external stakeholders (Client, Third Parties, etc.) in a timely manner for required tests and inspections.\nReport any organizational requirements or manpower needs necessary to achieve installation and commissioning objectives.\nAttend and actively participate in regular commissioning meetings led by the Client, Project Management Team, or Site Team.\n7.Application of Safety Regulations\nPerform work within the assigned authorization level.\nApply all safety regulations and use required safety equipment and devices.\nReport any safety breaches or irregularities immediately.\nEnsure compliance with industry best practices and Schneider Electric safety standards.\nParticipate in work preparation and planning activities.\nPrepare or verify the availability of a safety plan before commencing work.\nManage safety aspects with the customer throughout project execution.\nEnsure work complies with:Standing Safety Procedures\nSite Safety Instructions\nJob Safety Analysis (JSA) / Risk Assessment requirements\n\nExercise the right to stop work in the event of imminent danger.\nApply and enforce all safety rules and regulations with subcontractors.\nStrictly follow Schneider Electric Global Safety Instructions and local country-specific safety requirements.\n8.Update of Business Information Systems\nUpdate expenses and charges using Schneider Electric standard tools.\nMaintain and update customer equipment databases when applicable.\n9.Commissioning Documentation and As-Built Updates\nRecord all modifications made to approved construction drawings.\nEnsure drawings are updated for conversion to \"As-Built\" status upon project completion.\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology (minimum).\nFluent English (C1 level).\nAdditional languages are considered an advantage.\nProficient in:MS Office Suite\nAdobe Acrobat\nAutoCAD\nOutlook\nOmicron testing software\nProtection relay setting software\n\nAdvanced knowledge of:Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) equipment\nPower stations and electrical power systems\nModern technologies and commissioning test principles\n\nExperience with competitor equipment such as ABB and Siemens is an advantage.\nSchneider Electric Product Knowledge (Preferred)\nMedium Voltage Switchgear:Premset\nMCset\nPIX\n\nProtection Relays:SEPAM\nMiCOM\nEasergy\n\nUPS Systems:APC Symmetra\n\nLow Voltage Distribution:Blokset\nOkken\nPrisma\n\n5 to 8 years of relevant experience.\nMinimum 5 years of commissioning experience on LV and/or MV equipment.\nExperience working:On site, or\nIn an electro-mechanical design office\n\nMinimum 5 months of relevant field/design office exposure.\nFlexibility and reliability.\nStrong attention to technical details.\nCustomer-focused mindset.\nTeam player with strong collaboration skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabiliti\nRewards designed for you\nOur Total Rewards is our way of saying: We see you and we value you.
