You will partner with Project Managers, Engineers, and Operations personnel to ensure efficient utilization of staging resources while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and reliability standards. You will play a critical role in supporting system integration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) preparation, and customer project delivery while helping ensure equipment and project assets are organized, validated, and deployment ready. The Staging Technician must understand and be prepared to perform Shipping and Receiving roles and responsibilities to ensure effective coverage when assigned personnel are out of the office.\nWhat will you do?\nStaging Operations and Project Coordination\nAssign, coordinate, and maintain staging floor locations for active projects to ensure efficient space utilization and workflow management.\nPartner with Project Managers to estimate and plan staging floor space requirements based on project scope, equipment volume, and delivery schedules.\nMonitor staging capacity and proactively identify potential space constraints, recommending solutions to support project execution.\nCoordinate movement of staged equipment within the facility and ensure proper organization, identification, and tracking of project assets.\nSupport warehouse, logistics, and project teams to maintain staging efficiency and ensure project milestones are achieved.\nMaintain accurate documentation and tracking records for staged equipment, project materials, and system configurations.\nShipping and Receiving Backup Support\nServe as the designated backup for Shipping and Receiving personnel and provide coverage when assigned personnel are out of the office.\nMaintain working knowledge of the Shipping and Receiving Standard Operating Procedure, including applicable roles, responsibilities, documentation, communication, inventory control, material receiving, and outbound shipment requirements.\nWhen providing coverage, receive, verify, process, track, and ship materials in accordance with established procedures, safety requirements, and business controls.\nCoordinate with Project Managers, requestors, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure shipping and receiving activities are completed accurately and without unnecessary disruption.\nKeep shipping and receiving records, forms, packing documentation, and system transactions complete and current while performing backup duties.\nEquipment Preparation, Validation, and Testing\nCollaborate closely with engineers to support the staging, assembly, configuration, and preparation of project systems and equipment prior to shipment or deployment.\nSupport early project system setup with software loading as needed and creating/maintaining project required cyber security documentation. \nAssist engineering teams with equipment validation, system integration activities, and pre-shipment inspections as required.\nPerform hardware checkout and verification activities to confirm equipment completeness, functionality, and readiness before customer delivery.\nSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) preparation activities by ensuring equipment, documentation, and project components are available and properly configured.\nPerform operational checks, inspections, and testing activities to verify system functionality and equipment readiness.\nIdentify and report equipment issues, discrepancies, or technical concerns and support corrective actions.\nFollow established technical procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards during all staging and testing activities.\nSuccess in this Role:\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively coordinate staging operations, optimize floor space utilization, and ensure equipment is properly assembled, validated, documented, and ready for shipment or deployment.\nSuccess will be measured through efficient project execution support, equipment readiness, staging organization, customer satisfaction, adherence to safety and quality standards, and strong collaboration with engineering and project teams.\nThe successful candidate will also maintain readiness to provide dependable Shipping and Receiving coverage by understanding and executing the applicable roles, responsibilities, and procedures when primary personnel are unavailable.\nWhat qualifications will make you successful for this role?\nAssociate degree, technical diploma, military technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience supporting equipment staging, installation, commissioning, maintenance, or technical project delivery activities.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment documentation, installation manuals and project requirements.\nWorking knowledge of electrical, automation, control, networking, or related technical systems.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\nExperience performing equipment inspections, hardware verification, and troubleshooting activities.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational groups.\nAbility to safely move, organize, and manage equipment in staging and warehouse environments.\nAbility and willingness to learn and perform Shipping and Receiving roles and responsibilities and provide effective backup coverage when assigned personnel are out of the office.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting industrial automation, control systems, digital systems, or electrical projects.\nExperience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system integration, or commissioning activities.\nKnowledge of Schneider This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.
