You will lead the technical side of tenders, from early prescription with the customer’s central teams to the handover to execution.\nActing as the “conductor” of the solution, you will bring together Schneider Electric’s engineers, subject matter experts, our Regional Support Platform, factories and partners into one coherent, competitive and executable technical offer. This is a highly customer-facing technical leadership role: you will lead functionally, without necessarily having direct reports.\nWhere you will spend your time: pre-tender and prescription (moderate) · tenders and technical clarifications (core of the role) · execution oversight after handover (light).\nYour missions\nCustomer interface & technical prescription\nAct as the primary technical contact for your customers on electrical design topics, building trust through clear and credible exchanges.\nEngage with customers’ central engineering teams ahead of RFQs to understand their technical drivers and influence design choices.\nLead technical workshops and explain complex concepts, design choices and trade-offs to senior customer stakeholders.\nTender leadership\nReview RFQs and technical documentation; define and validate the technical architecture, design assumptions and compliance matrices.\nCoordinate all technical contributors (engineers, experts, Regional Support Platform, factories, suppliers and partners) and keep them aligned with the RFQ and the tender timeline.\nLead post-submission clarifications: defend technical choices, assess requested inclusions and exclusions, and coordinate revisions to build the strongest final proposal.\nEnsure tender commitments are technically sound, competitive and executable, and comply with Schneider Electric governance on quality, safety and cybersecurity.\nExecution oversight & continuous improvement\nHand over awarded projects to the execution teams and keep oversight through regular touchpoints; support the technical assessment of changes and variation orders.\nPromote standardization and reuse of customer-approved solutions across countries; capture lessons learned and best practices.\nAct as technical referent for zone and country technical leaders on your accounts.\nTypical scope: MV and LV systems, transformers, UPS, busways, E-house integration, with interfaces to cooling, BMS and power monitoring (EPMS). Dedicated cooling and UPS experts support the team.\n Your profile\nMaster’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.\nAt least 7 years’ experience leading the technical scope of customer projects, ideally large and international.\nSolid electrical design foundations in LV and MV, and a good understanding of UPS systems. Knowledge of transformers and busways is appreciated.\nTender or bid experience: you have worked on RFQs or technical offers and know how to deliver under compressed timelines.\nDirect experience with demanding customers, in a customer-facing technical role.\nData center experience is a strong advantage. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives (annual bonus) at target. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located in France.
