You're part of a global team built on inclusion, mastery, purpose, action, curiosity, and teamwork, turning sustainability ambitions into actions.\nThe Role: Technical Service Operations Intern\nWhat will you do?\nTo support Service Operations through technical analysis, engineering support, field service exposure, and continuous improvement initiatives across Power Systems, Secure Power, and Energy Management.\nThe role provides practical exposure to Schneider Electric's technologies, service activities, and customer applications while developing technical competencies and problem-solving capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\n Technical Engineering Support\nAssist technical teams in reviewing equipment specifications, technical drawings, and service documentation.\nSupport troubleshooting activities, technical investigations, and root cause analysis (RCA).\nAssist in preparing technical reports, equipment assessments, and engineering recommendations.\nParticipate in technical discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with experienced Service Representatives (SRs).\nCross-Segment Technical Exposure\nPower Systems (PS)\nSupport technical activities related to MV/LV electrical distribution equipment, switchgear, and protection systems.\nAssist in reviewing testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance results.\n\nSecure Power (SP)\nGain technical exposure to UPS, cooling systems, batteries, and critical power infrastructure.\nSupport equipment performance analysis, maintenance assessments, and troubleshooting documentation.\n\nEnergy Management (EM)\nSupport technical activities involving energy monitoring, power quality, digital systems, and automation solutions.\nAssist in analyzing energy performance data and identifying potential improvement opportunities.\n\nField Service & Project Support\nAssist SRs and Technical Team Leaders in technical preparation and post-service reporting.\nSupport the review of technical findings and follow-up actions from field service activities.\nTechnical Analysis & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze equipment performance, service findings, and recurring technical issues.\nDevelop simple technical dashboards, analytical reports, or digital tools to improve service effectiveness.\nIdentify opportunities to improve troubleshooting processes, technical documentation, and service quality.\nContribute to at least one technical improvement project during the internship.\nTechnical Knowledge & Competency Development\nDevelop fundamental knowledge of Schneider Electric's products and service solutions.\nParticipate in technical training, product familiarization, and practical learning sessions.\nPrepare technical knowledge-sharing materials or case studies based on internship learning.\nExpected Deliverables\nBy the end of the internship, the candidate is expected to:\nDemonstrate basic technical understanding of products and service activities across PS, SP, and EM.\nComplete at least one technical analysis or improvement project.\nContribute to technical documentation, troubleshooting analysis, or equipment performance assessments.\nPresent technical findings, lessons learned, and improvement recommendations to the Service Operations team.\nWhat qualifications will make you successful?\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.\nStrong interest in electrical systems, engineering applications, and field service technologies.\nMust be available for a minimum internship duration of 6 months.
