This is a hands-on role covering equipment setup, hardware logistics, site setup and upkeep of IT spaces, all done under the direction of the IT team. This is not a help desk role. It’s a great fit for someone who is reliable, organized, comfortable with physical work and interested in technology.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall and connect workstations, monitors, printers and AV equipment at assigned sites, and confirm each device powers on and connects to the network\nMove equipment within and between sites, manage cabling and escalate any device that does not come online to the IT service desk\nUnbox and stage new equipment, then run the standard imaging process provided by IT.\nApply asset tags, perform scheduled inventory counts and keep accurate records of where equipment is located\nKeep server rooms, network closets and IT storage areas clean and organized, and report abnormal conditions such as heat, water or alarms\nRemove retired equipment, wipe devices using IT-provided procedures and stage items for disposal or recycling according to company policy\nMeet delivery and installation vendors on site, check shipments against purchase orders and sign for receipt\nProvide physical labor and site logistics during hardware rollouts and office moves\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nPrior warehouse, logistics or facilities experience preferred\nBasic computer literacy and familiarity with computer hardware and cabling\nReliable, organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow checklists and procedures accurately\nComfortable working independently and coordinating schedules across multiple locations\nMust possess and maintain a valid driver license\nMust possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)\nSchomp Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the compensation range for this position.
