As we expand our provision across the UK and internationally, we are strengthening our academic team to deliver high-quality teaching, support excellent student outcomes and help shape the future of technology-focused education.\nAbout the Role\nThis is an exciting opportunity to teach future focused technology subjects while helping shape the development of our Higher Education provision.\nYou’ll deliver engaging, practical teaching that helps students develop the technical knowledge, confidence and skills they need for further study and careers in technology.\nYou may teach across areas including:\nProgramming \nArtificial Intelligence \nCybersecurity\nData Analysis & Big Data \nCloud Computing \nNetworking\nDatabase Systems \nIT Management \nThe role may also include A Level Math's and Practical Engineering Science, including Electro Mechanical Design.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDeliver engaging and practical Computing & IT teaching.\nPlan lessons and learning activities that support strong student outcomes.\nMake complex technical concepts accessible to a diverse student group.\nSet, mark and provide constructive feedback on assessments.\nSupport students with their academic progress and developments.\nKeep teaching content current with industry and technology developments.\nContribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.\nWork collaboratively with our academic team and university partners. \nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Bring\nWe’re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for teaching and student success.\nEssential\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computing, IT or a related subject.\n2 years teaching experience in Higher Education or a similar environment.\nPGCE, HE teaching qualification or Fellowship of the HEA. \nStrong knowledge of Computing and IT.\nAbility to teach at least three relevant Computing/IT subject areas.\nExcellent communication and classroom skills.\nA student focused approach.\nAvailability to teach weekends where required.\nDesirable\nMaster’s degree or relevant professional qualification. \nExperience teaching A Level Math's or Engineering Science.\nIndustry experience in Computing or IT.\nExperience working with international or diverse student groups.\nDon’t have a formal teaching qualification yet?
