Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.\nPay Range:\n$22.33 - $32.38Scheduled Weekly Hours:\n40Please note this is a contract role approved to last up to 90 days\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAccounting's entry level position. Performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports and accounts payable functions. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.\nCodes invoices and vouchers with proper account distribution.\nPrepare and pay AP invoices.\nProcess stop payments and cash orders from the operations area.\nMaintain records of fixed assets.\nMaintain records of investments.\nSend and receive wire transfers.\nBalance daily teller cash.\nProcess teammember and corporate visa reimbursements.\nRecord month end accruals (and/or prepaid schedules).\nDaily Federal Reserve deposit and cash balancing; cash management.\nReconcile master money transactions and official checks.\nParticipates in projects relating to the teammembers’ job function.\nMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts of the credit union.\nProvide backup support across various tasks to help maintain smooth daily operations and assist teammembers as needed.\nAdditional Job Functions\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nComplies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties.
