At West Bend, we specialize in cream cheese - that meet our customers’ needs and appeal to consumer tastes worldwide.\nRate of Pay:\nUp to $32.09 per hour based on experience. \nShift premium of $1.00 per hour for second shift and $2.00 per hour for third shift.\n$2,000 sign on bonus, paid in the first year, based on good employment standing for 3rd shift full time positions.\nShift/Schedule:\n1st Shift (6:00 am to 2:00 pm)\n\n2nd Shift (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm)\n\n3rd Shift (10:00 pm to 6:00 am)\n\nWork week offers a guaranteed 40 hours.\nMandatory overtime is expected and weekend work is likely. Overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturday and double time paid on Sundays.\nFull Benefits Package Available:\nHealth insurance available day one (medical, dental, vision and life insurance)\n401k Match: $ for $ on first 6% (After 90 days)\nPaid Vacation and Holidays:\nHealth and wellness programs available (includes an HSA with company contributions of up to $1,200 based on medical plan elections and screening)\nProfessional growth and development opportunities through training and our Tuition Assistance Program\nJob Duties:\nOperate within our Process areas such as: Intake, Separator Room and Batching rooms.\nOperate cheese separators to remove whey from cheese mix producing uniform cream cheese within customer specifications.\nUse computer to calculate quantities of raw materials needed to batch cream cheese mix for following day’s separating.\nOperate pasteurizing equipment to produce mix based on these calculations.\nTake samples and test solids of cream cheese products in standardizing system and adjust, if needed, within customer product specifications.\nComplete all paperwork associated with equipment settings, products produced, and work performed.\nPerform CIP, COP, and various cleanup functions on tanks, transfer lines, pasteurizer, and vats, as needed.\nOther general duties as assigned by leadership.\nWho we are looking for:\nAbility to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision\n\nReliability- Attendance is an essential function\nMechanically inclined\n\nSelf-motivated, detail orientated individual who possesses a results-oriented mindset in a team environment\n\nBasic math skills and reading comprehension\n\nNo degree is required\n\nPhysical Demands:\nStand up to 12 hours per day\n\nLift/Carry up to 50 pounds up to 4 times per hour\n\nWork in cold, hot or wet environment\n\nAbility to lift and reach shoulder height and above repetitively frequently\n\nQualifying positions offer:\nA 401(k) plan with a generous, above market Schreiber match.\n Personal Time Off (PTO) starting on day one.\n Earn extra money for taking care of yourself.
