Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.\nProgramme overview:\nOur 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. Product is uniquely positioned within the organisation to drive change. Sitting between Investment, Client Group, and Operations, Product is well placed to independently evaluate the market and identify key trends, while understanding the perspective different parts of the business in order to formulate the right strategy.\nThe Product function is made up of a range of teams whose overall responsibility is to own the entire product lifecycle from idea to execution to ongoing monitoring of the product range:\nProduct Strategy - This team leads product strategy and innovation to ensure alignment with client needs and the anticipated investment landscape. The team seeks to build a strong understanding of the market, better inform Schroders' sales activity, improve product positioning and suggest product development ideas.\n\nProduct Development - This team works across the entire product lifecycle, and is tasked with designing and developing new products (e.g. funds) or solutions for our clients. Our job is to outperform our competitors by creating products that are innovative and suit our clients’ needs.
