Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.\nJob Summary:\nWe aim to successfully assist in the management and implementation of a portfolio’s investment strategy.\nImplementation Portfolio Managers take responsibility for implementation of investment decisions and trades, working closely with Head of Portfolio Implementation and Investment Teams to design and propose the investment implementation and pre-trade compliance monitoring process. In some teams they are also responsible for overseeing cash management, and corporate actions.\nAn Implementation Portfolio Manager’s main stakeholder is the Investment team; however as a senior team member he/ she is also expected to be able to manage and navigate more complex queries by representing the Investment Team in providing the support link between Investment Product, Operations & Client Group teams. A good Implementation Portfolio Manager has to be able to meet the following criteria.\n1. At least 7 years in portfolio implementation relevant experience\n2. Have the support and trust of Investment colleagues when conducting the day-to-day as well as any ad-hoc investment implementation\n3. Have good knowledge of operational processes, business and market requirements.\n4. Have a good understanding of guidelines and regulations of mandates and funds managed by the investment desk\n5. Possess strong knowledge of regulations and execution processes for all markets included in desk strategies.\n6. Well versed in the Group’s policies and processes, including for e.g. the Risk Event Reporting procedures\n7.
