The role will play an important part in maintaining SIM EU's operational risk framework and supporting ongoing regulatory compliance obligations.\nAt functional level, the role will sit within the Global Fund Platform which in turn forms part of the Global Operating Platform. The successful candidate will functionally report into the Head of Operations Risk and Control, ensuring all relevant risks within the Global Fund Platform are defined, managed and reported into functional MI, supported with key insights and identification of opportunities and threats.\nAbout Us\nSchroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.\nWhat you’ll do\nOperational Risk & Governance\nCoordinate and facilitate risk and control assessments (RCA) across the Luxembourg entity and Global Fund Platform. \nSupport the maintenance and enhancement of the operational risks and control framework. \nMonitor operational risk events, issues and remediation activities. \nAnalyse risk themes, incidents and emerging risks and support appropriate escalation where required.\nTrack audit findings, regulatory actions and management actions through to completion. \nPrepare management information, risk reporting and governance materials for local Management Committees, Boards and other governance forums. \nBusiness Continuity & Operational Resilience\nCoordinate annual Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) reviews. \nSupport the ongoing development and maintenance of the Luxembourg Platform business continuity framework. \nCoordinate and support business continuity and resilience testing exercises, where required. \nWork with business and technology teams to identify and document critical services, dependencies and recovery requirements. \nTrack business continuity-related remediation actions and lessons learned from testing and incidents.\nDora & ICT Risk Management\nCoordinate DORA ICT service applicability and criticality assessment processes. \nSupport the maintenance and quality assurance of the DORA Register of Information. \nCoordinate evidence collection and documentation required for regulatory, audit and governance purposes. \nSupport ongoing monitoring of DORA implementation and business-as-usual compliance activities. \nWork closely with Technology, Procurement and business collaborators on ICT risks matters. \nThird-Party Oversight\nSupport implementation of the local Third-Party Oversight Framework. \nCoordinate third-party risk assessment activities and periodic oversight reviews. \nMaintain documentation and evidence supporting oversight activities. \nAssist with identifying potential regulatory notification requirements relating to outsourcing and ICT third-party arrangements.\nStakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships across local Platform, Global Operating Platform, and Group functions. \nCoordinate activities across multiple collaborators and workstreams. \nPromote awareness of Platform operational risks and governance requirements. \nFind opportunities for improvement in execution, automation and improved reporting. \nContribute to central initiatives supporting operational resilience and regulatory compliance. \nWho we’re looking for\nExperience\nAt least 3 years of experience within operational risk, business continuity, audit, compliance, governance or a related rigor. \nExperience working within the financial services industry or another highly regulated environment. \nExperience facilitating risk assessments, workshops and governance activities. \nExposure to business continuity management, DORA, ICT risk management or third-party risk management would be advantageous. \nExperience supporting regulatory, audit or governance processes.\nSkills\nStrong understanding of operational risk management principles and governance practices. \nGood understanding of business continuity concepts. \nKnowledge of DORA requirements and ICT risk management principles is desirable. \nExcellent collaborator management and communication skills. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. \nAbility to manage several priorities and deliver to deadlines. \nStrong written communication skills with the ability to prepare materials for senior management and governance forums.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation. \nWe recognise potential, whoever you are\nOur purpose is to deliver excellent investment performance to clients through active management.
