We are seeking an experienced with a proven track record of driving successful technology design and delivery. The ideal candidate should have high standards, an eye for detail, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong analytical toolkit. A deep understanding of the financial services industry is essential. The candidate should be able to influence senior stakeholders, deliver business value, and demonstrate a passion for innovation. They should be comfortable working in a pre-programme mobilisation environment as well as supporting analysis on in flight delivery programmes through to production .\nThe candidate will have experience working with Seismic, Salesforce, and custom platform APIs and needs strong integration and backend skills. They should understand RESTful services, CRM data syncing, and event-driven architecture to keep sales and enablement content aligned.\nAPI & Integration Proficiency: Hands-on design and consumption of REST APIs, handling webhooks, and managing rate limits across third-party platforms.\nCRM Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce architecture, including data synchronization, user mapping, and embedding apps into Sales Cloud.\nBackend & Data Skills: Proficiency in a language like Python, C#, or Node.js, alongside database management (SQL/PostgreSQL) to audit and reconcile synced logs.\nAuthentication & Security: Managing secure cross-platform authentication flows, token handling, and role-based access permissions\nAbout Us\nSchroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. The Content Enablement team sits within Client Technology and is responsible for all platforms associated with Client facing Technology.\nWhat you’ll do\nContribute to the technical design and hands-on development of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions across the Salesforce platform, spanning both our Public and Private businesses.\n\nApply engineering standards, code quality practices, and technical governance, ensuring solutions are maintainable, performant, and aligned to architectural principles.\n\nBuild integrations connecting Seismic and Salesforce with upstream and downstream platforms to enable joined-up client journeys and high-quality, trusted data.\n\nApply DevOps practices-CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management-to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.\n\nContribute to proof-of-value and proof-of-concept builds to test ideas and de-risk delivery.\n\nExplore emerging AI capabilities-including Seismic Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce-to enhance productivity and client engagement, delivering practical use cases.\n\nTake part in code reviews and knowledge-sharing to support the technical capability of the team.\n\nThe knowledge, experience and qualifications you need\nSolid, demonstrable hands-on Seismic and Salesforce development experience, including strong Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative configuration.\n\nSeismic Platform and a Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I is required; Platform Developer II is strongly preferred.Salesforce Certified Administrator is expected, and integration or architecture-track certifications (e.g. Integration Architect, Application Architect, MuleSoft) are desirable.\n\nProven integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware such as MuleSoft to connect Salesforce with other systems.\n\nStrong experience of DevOps and CI/CD tooling (e.g. Git, Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps), automated testing, and release management on the Salesforce platform.\n\nA good understanding of Seismic and Salesforce architecture, data modelling, security, governor limits, and platform best practices.\n\nGood eye for detail and a strong track record of producing high-quality technical solutions and well-tested code.\n\nEngineering experience across different capabilities, systems or teams; a breadth of (positive) experiences is valued alongside depth.\n\nA solid understanding of the end-to-end SDLC (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid etc.) and modern engineering disciplines.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nWillingness to work with global colleagues and stakeholders and sensitivity to cultural differences, time zones etc.\n\nWhat you'll be like\nThe ideal candidate for the Software Engineer role will be a pragmatic and collaborative team member who takes pride in engineering craftsmanship and delivering business value.
