We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms.\nEstablished in 1804, we have around 5,500 people across 36 global locations. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.\nThe base\nWe moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.\nThe team\nThe Solutions division currently looks after over £100bn in assets across pensions, insurance and other long term asset owners like endowments and charities/foundations. You’ll join our team based in London but operating across the UK and internationally. Our team continues to grow to support the steady stream of opportunities landing with us across a diverse range of client types.\nWe are responsible for the design and delivery of tailored investment strategies for our clients, bringing the whole of the firm, which as of October 2026 includes Nuveen’s capabilities. We lead engagements with a wide range of clients, understanding their needs through deep investment knowledge and investment strategy insights. Team members come from a variety of backgrounds, most commonly from investment and actuarial consulting, solutions and broader asset management firms.\nWhat you’ll do\nSupport lead advisors in delivering a wide range of investment services, from designing investment strategy, developing solutions in response to changing market conditions, and meeting and building relationships with clients;\n\nDraft high-quality client materials in line with required timescales;\n\nUndertake numerical analysis using our in-house strategy development tools;\n\nHelp to monitor clients’ investment strategies on an ongoing basis, and interact with a variety of other external stakeholders and client advisors; and\n\nContribute towards proposition innovation and new business opportunities predominantly across pensions, endowments and charities/foundations. This could also involve supporting international opportunities with colleagues based overseas.\n\nThe knowledge, experience and qualifications you need\nAn understanding of investment strategies used across pensions, endowments and charities/foundations, including a range of asset classes and investment products, and the use of derivatives to manage risk;\n\nAt least a basic knowledge of industry trends and topical issues across pensions, endowments and charities/foundations; and\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications and must have strong experience of Excel.\n\nPrior work experience in investment consultancy, asset management or actuarial firms.\n\nThe knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help\nGood organisational and internal communication skills.
